The worked as expected. They made it difficult to recognize satellite images and forced the Ukrainians to use drones on targets they were not sure of destroying, with the addition of making it difficult for Western OSINTs to BDA. the ground-based imagery of the post-attack base is not able to recognize the destruction of aircraft that were supposedly in these shelters.

"Despite multiple fortified positions around the town, Russian forces entered Novohrodivka without much difficulties. It's one of the key settlements on the way to Pokrovsk. Local Ukrainian OTU/OSUV command is doing a terrible job.

Lovely blame games. Reminds me when the counter-offensive clearly failed and Twitter was trying to determine who's at fault.

Russians are playing chess with their strategy of attrition and NATO is playing checkers. All remaining military options have been reduced to bad ones for the Ukrainian state. Somehow, Russian planners have found a way for the Ukrainians to weaken their strong defences in territories that Russia can actually capture, hold, and incorporate long term with minimal expenditure of resources, i.e the remaining portions of the Donetsk republic, while the Ukrainians look for meaningless and unsustainable land grabs in Kursk.
