The War in the Ukraine

While the overall interception rate numbers seem more realistic than their usual tripe, the interception rates stated for individual missiles still seem kind of bogus. There is just no good reason why Iskander-M would be harder to intercept than the Kinzhal for example. It is also kind of dubious that the Kalibr would be harder to intercept than the Kh-101 unless they are talking about the high terminal velocity Kalibr missiles or something. It makes no sense why the Zircon would be easier to intercept than the Oniks (could be low baseline numbers effect for Zircon). There is still no credible evidence of Russia either using the Tochka or the S-300/S-400 as attack missiles on Ukraine. The only country using the Tochka in the conflict is Ukraine.
Russians also use the Kh-69 quite a bit. I think there are a lot of inaccuracies at best and possibly just an entirely manufactured document with no basis in reality.

Don't know if identification is correct or not but that thing happen when you use the same vehicles... they probably did not even know what happened. BMP shooting another BMP point blank.

There is a clearer video of the mess. A Russian BMP-3 tries to hit an M113 thats trying to escape, meanwhile an Ukranian MRAP and BMP-2 roll up behind the BMP-3; for some reason the BMP-2 initially fires on the MRAP but quickly stops and parks behind the BMP-3, maybe thinking it is friendly or something.
The BMP-3 turns the turret around and minces the BMP-2 and the area where the soldiers dismounted from the MRAP

Pro-Ukr accounts are trying to spin this as a Rus BMP-2 because the cannon is blocking the Delta marking used by the AFU making it look like a V due to the bad image quality, but Russian vehicles in Kursk don't tend to have any V markings.

Yeah.. i'm kinda suspect Ukraine's own AD Failure with their 5V55 missiles and Buk's are attributed to Russians. Afterall it's hard to differentiate Russians and Ukrainian S-300 missiles.

A series of strikes by X-38ML missile, one I previously posted, all happened in Kherson.

A hideout of Ukrainian troops gets hit by the missile.

Storage and repair of boat equipment, as well as what might be a barracks, gets hit. This might be a site used by Ukrainian commandos. I think the munitions stored in the warehouse went off with the hit.

Location of Ukrainian UAV group, hit by missile.

However I am leaning that Strike #1 and #2 were actually by LMUR (X-39). House destruction tends to be given to this missile, while bigger buildings and infrastructure are given to the X-38, as in Strike #2. Strike #1 and #3 might be both UAV control teams with the house used to store drones and explosives for assembly into FPV drones. The missiles strike may have set off the munitions meant to be attached to the FPV drones.

Anyway, S-300 and S-400 are way too valuable to use like cheap ballistic missiles...they have too many of their own targets to hunt. Probably rushing to make enough of them to replenish their defenses.

What is going on with the War?

Based on the media reports, Ukraine keeps attacking Russia at the moment. Whether its ground assaults, missiles or mass drone assault. How come Ukraine has so much attack potential compared to Russia? I thought Russia was supposed to do a summer offensive, but that never happened. Instead its Ukraine doing 2 offensives inside Russia now. Is Russia losing to Ukraine?

Well. Since the guaranteed lifetime of the missiles are only about 10-20 Years. There could be large stocks of unexpended but expired missiles. The Russians usually use them for training which, well some resulted with famous missiles failed to ignite incidents.

Russians can use these stocks as the giant GMLRS against ground targets if they want.
