Big yikes if they're evacuating villages around the airbase.

Su-57s are housed here.
From satellite imagery this is a massive airbase. Filled to the brim with aircraft, if strike was conducted through UAV it's conceivable that aircraft would move out before the strike. A lot of munition seem to have gone up in smoke though.

Comparison between Russia military to US or NATO should stop.

Indeed, this nonsense must end even more so any further political commentary including again the suggestion to use nukes, which will result in immediate bans.

As such, this is a clear warning!!

If you would kindly re-check what I posted, I mentioned it is 'also' a training base, what that says is that it also have tons of aircraft for training purposes, in addition to aircraft and ammunition for ops purposes. And you can have lots of booms from a single ammunition warehouse.

Would also be nice if we post non-English posts with translations/summary, otherwise we'd just end up sharing gibberish with each other.

The Washington Post is reporting that Kyiv has asked Washington to be allowed to use ATACMS from Kursk to hit Russian air bases. Not sure if this opens up some new airbases to counter attack if allowed to go ahead with the use of them.

It seems there is nothing stopping Ukr from using HIMARS in Kursk.

Singh: "No, we are not concerned about possible escalation or nuclear threats from Russia. Ukraine is defending its sovereignty. As we have already said, Putin can stop the war, he can give the order to withdraw troops.

Ukraine just continues to do everything possible to get its lands back , and this is what we are seeing in the Kursk region now. We support and will support Ukraine with all the necessary weapons."

Russia is losing deterrent power with each passing day, it is proving to be a giant with feet of clay and its enemies are watching its mediocrity and weakness... Any official US spokesman can treat Russia publicly as a banana republic and third-tier power freely...

Russian troop vehicle column hit somewhere in Kursk
The Russians are once again demonstrating their operational incompetence. In columns, especially in areas close to the enemy's line of contact, the commander of the logistics unit knows that he has to use dispersed vehicles; it would be practically mandatory to disperse personnel and vehicles as a passive air defense measure.
