Would be quite hard to shot small sea suicide drone with a Su-30, would need some dedicated weapons/targetting pod for the task.

it's more like they dont have proper weapons. Kh-31A and Kh-29 are just too big for the task. Targeting pod wise.. Russia does have T-220 TGP but so far VMF, VKS or even their tactical army aviation showed no interest.

The curious thing is whether the Targeting pod is compatible with Su-30SM's. The optronics suite for SM were developed by UOMZ while the one for T-220 was NPK-SPP or NIIPP. Only Su-35 and MiG-29M2 seems to be straight compatible with the pod as their optronics are also developed by the same company.

Do we know what air to air missiles the F-16 MLU will have? You know it's bad when F-16.net plays down its role in this war?
Probably compatible old stock AA missiles that passed their expiration date. They will be sitting ducks in air-air mission beside maybe hunting cruise missiles from the extreme west of the country. Belarus still near to cover that part, don't know if Russia use a lot their airspace....

Jdam/sdb bombs that can be lobbed from afar a bit like Russia do with their wing kits will be the best weapons to help the front.

They will have Amraam's for sure. Remains to be seen however how Ukraine will try using it. The safest option would be to contest Black Sea where NATO intels are in play thus allow some form of BVR parity, especially against VMF's Su-30SM and earlier Su-27S in Belbek. Such will increase load on Su-35 and MiG-31's.

They may try SEAD load with HARM's, problem is Russians have R-37M's which they can use to harass or even kill the SEAD mission.

I think cruise missile and drone hunting will be their role at first which means armed with aim-9m's and aim-120c5's these missiles are starting to expire. This could make a big difference how many targets get hit in Ukraine by Russian cruise missiles.

Seems about right. If these F-16's don't come with Harm receiving pod and EW centerline pod, lobbying JDAMS and shooting down cruise missile is all they will be good for.

As for air to air battles... it will be just like tanks on ground. Even if they are armed with aim-120c7's Russian flankers don't fly near the frontlines at high altitudes so I guess they'll try and take shots at each other but I don't see any air to air combat not even over the blacksea.

What's the big of a deal on Patriots anyway? We have seen countless S-300/S-400 destroyed due to multiple reasons and yet the destruction of these Strategic weapons have caused minimal changes within the conflict itself

There's no need for a rigorous debate regarding an only singular Patriot system destruction
Ask this question to our good friend @SolarWarden who just can't or is unwilling to accept that Russians and especially Russian military isn't that incompetent the way he has judged them to have become.
