Smelchak on the field. This is the guided round for the 240mm self propelled 2S4 Tyulpan mortar. The current edition of the shell used in the battlefield works with the Orlan UAV which points to the laser guidance system sharing the tech from the Krasnopol.
Chasiv Yar might be the next to "lose its strategic importance.". Personally I think it might be Novomikhailovka then Ivanoske.
M1 Abrams spotted heading towards the Avdiivka front.
The 114th Brigade raised it's flag over the Avdiivka coke plant.
The 24th SPN (special forces or Spetznaz) Brigade of the 90th MR Division, raised it's flag on the Avdiivka city administration building.

The 74th Guards MR Brigade raised it's flag in the Avdiivka industrial zone next to the sand quarry.

Where to go next after Avdeevka ?.
Already heard those claiming it's not strategic etc.. Russians took 400K casualties and stuff. But then.. the position was taken and Donetsk city can have bit more breathing room.

In the immediate aftermath it looks like Russian will use the momentum and chase the troops falling back, there are already reports that Russians are on the outskirts of Lastochkyne where some of the Avdeevka garrison have retreated to.
Beyond that it looks like siege of Chasiv Yar will come soon.
Drones, FAB and artillery on troops falling back will give them hell for quite a while. Better not to chase them in open fields anyway. We will see more pressure elsewhere with Adeevka taken, it will relieve some FAB for other targets.
I think the US flag is just a popular symbol. Like the Reichsadler the guy with the moustache has on his chest, doesn't mean he's German.
