The War in the Ukraine

Such drone ships wouldn't even be able to be operated at such distances if they weren't using Starlink or similar.
The Russian ships are detected with Western orbital radar satellites.
Without Western material support to Ukraine something like that wouldn't even be possible.

Sinking ships in an enclosed body of water is hardly a new feat either. Try reading about the Battle of Drøbak Sound in WW2 for example.

The sinking of this ship is another feather on Ukraine's cap. But won't materially affect the course of the war.

I know it won't happen ... very interesting if China had decided to support Russia with just low tech weapons and ammunitions. With the industrial scale China has, easily to get whatever Russia needs in 2-3 months
I would be surprised if China had not quietly boosted arms and munitions production across the board after the start of the Ukrainian war as a part of its general hedging and contingency planning measures.

China is unlikely to provide Russia with lethal assistance as things stand for a number of reasons, some of which America and NATO are finding out about right now.

But it would be a mistake to assume that just because China isn’t providing Russia with direct military assistance that it’s not helping Russia. The quantum leap Russian drones have been making since the start of the conflict is very likely to be underwritten by Chinese parts support at a minimum. A lot of the refurbished Russian tanks and IFVs and artillery may also end up performing better than expected thanks to unexpectedly high quality sights and fire control upgrades.

Air strikes on the edge of Chasiv Yar on Ukrainian positions. Softening operation for possible offensive, by the 98th VDV. Su-34s drops glide FABs and Uragans are fired on these positions. This might be a case where Uragan-1M MLRS are used which can utilize Tornado-S cassettes.

Looks like another large landing ship was sunk by Ukranian USVs. What is Russia planning to do with those ships in the middle of the ocean? Better use would be sitting in port as bait for expensive cruise missiles imo, since the USVs are nigh infinite when compared against storm shadows.
Would remove all non usefull ships that can pass through the canal system... they have no use for them anyway. Not sure about these fitting in the canal but they are just bait sitting there. Cannot see them doing a landings operation for Odessa anyway.

That strike is a good way to take attention off Advika but in the end, change little beside making the Russian navy look bad again.

Here's video released by Ukr of sinking of Russian ship
(WARNING) Turn volume down the music is obnoxious

A no navy nation, AND no air force, has somehow managed to sink and damage more warships than Argentina during the 82 war.
That is completely incorrect. Argentina sunk or took out of actiones more ships and in a completely different scenario.

I'm just surprised they are having them sit out of port alone after Ukranian USVs have proven so dangerous. Tbh the black sea fleet had not really done much this whole conflict other than lobbing cruise missiles occasionally, with the sinking of Moskva the area air defence capability of the fleet is basically nil.

Footage of an attack by Ukrainian naval drones on the Russian large landing ship Caesar Kunikov, Project 775, which we previously talked about. The attack at 6.15 am almost abeam Yalta was carried out by a Ukrainian unit called Group 13, equipped with MAGURA V5 maritime drones. It is unknown what purpose the landing ship Caesar Kunikov had, but at the moment, not a single ship in the world can repel a massive attack by sea drones. Putting this ship out to sea was quite a risky endeavor; unlike other ships of Project 775, it does not have AK-630 artillery mounts and has nothing to repel an attack with. Judging by the video, the ship tilted and capsized on one of its sides. According to the Ukrainian media, the ship "Caesar Kunikov" sank; Russian media do not confirm this.
