Latest word is this Leo 2A6 was actually frontally penetrated in the lower glacis by a T-72 of some sort, on the first shot too, in a very rare instance of tank on tank duel.

Man people have been arguing over this match up in forums for like 30 years.
Looks like the fuel tank got penetrated with the fuel spilling out and catching fire.

At first I was tinking they added Soviet style fuel barrel range extender at the rear that got pierced. On the before video It didn't have any, so they got hull breach big time.

Maybe the round bounced on the ground and pierced the floor to hit the center fuel tank? It look like the leak is from below. Other tanks are quite high ?

Orange parts are the fuel system:

Today there seemed to have been another missile attack on Crimea by Ukraine. Activities of Su 24s were noted and an alert was soon issued. The alert was later lifted but the forces remained in high alert, later 2 Neptunes and 6 Storm Shadows were launched towards Crimea. Possible targets included a bridge and several other buildings, traffic was blocked on the bridge and buildings were evacuated.
Two neptunes were intercepted by ADs and later two more Storm Shadows were intercepted (presumably by Pantsirs), later another SS was suppressed. 3 Storms Shadows struck a building and damaged it. The building is claimed to be empty after evacuation at the time and initial report suggests no casualties.

Would you be so kind to add any source for your claims? ... otherwise it can be rated and will be rated only as "claims and propaganda" and as such will be deleted as "unsubstantiated claim". The same for your previous post about the last missile attack and how many ASMs have been downed.

Footage of the destruction of a Ukrainian Leopard 2A6 tank made in Germany. The Leopard 2A6 tank is equipped with additional protection and belonged to the 47th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Army; the tank was used in the Avdiivka direction. The Leopard 2A6 tank was reportedly destroyed by one of the Russian tanks, the model of the tank is not reported and it is not in the video, perhaps the shooting was carried out from afar. Judging by the footage, after the Leopard tank was hit, the fuel in it caught fire and the tank’s crew abandoned the combat vehicle.

Rybar on yesterday's missile attack. In summery the attack was made up of 3 separate waves:

1. First Neptune anti-ship missiles launched from Odessa, against targets in Crimea. A Mig-29 from Black Sea Fleet took off and intercepted two missiles over water

2. Shortly after, three Su-24M from Mirgorod direction launched six Storm Shadow/SCALP at targets in Strelkovoy, all six reached the village, three missiles were intercepted at close range (two by Pantsir-S1), three missiles hit their targets.

3. Several hours later, Ukraine then launched another wave of three Neptune from Odessa against Sevastopol. Su-27SM and Su-27P took off from Crimea and successfully intercepted them over water. Then a MiG-31BM from Black Sea Fleet took off from Odessa and detected two Ukrainian aircraft (type unknown) near Odessa with onboard radar and successfully downed them with air to air missile.

No word on Kerch Bridge, it's probably undamaged else we would've heard something by now.

Seems Russian air defense situation awareness in Odessa direction and against more conventional missiles like Neptune are good, in other directions and against stealthy missiles not as good. Rybar thinks use of A-50 is to credit for increased effectiveness of air defense and combat aircraft.

Worth nothing that Zaluzhny the AFU CiC had this article published today:

In which he also says:
But by holding back the supply of long-range missile systems and tanks, the West allowed Russia to regroup and build up its defences in the aftermath of a sudden breakthrough in Kharkiv region in the north and in Kherson in the south late in 2022. “These systems were most relevant to us last year, but they only arrived this year,” he says. Similarly, f-16 jets, due next year, are now less helpful, suggests the general, in part because Russia has improved its air defences: an experimental version of the s-400 missile system can reach beyond the city of Dnipro, he warns.
I suspect Shoigu's boasting about improvements in A-50 and S-400 and their combined usage are not entirely empty bluster
