The War in the Ukraine

I think it’s true, there has been a string of reports in multiple russian media regarding this incident, the NATO assets monitoring sites and taking photograph, movement of Ukrainian aircrafts, then the drone attacks and finally the missile attacks. If it’s a lie then it is an extremely well constructed one that’s been built up for days constant updates, russians usually suck at lying.
There haven’t been any mention of A-50 used this time around, seems to be a typical interception of missiles. Crimea is targeted a lot actually, only a couple of days ago they intercepted a few drones and couple of neptunes but these types of elaborated attacks are rare, seems like Russians were just more prepared this time around after a few missiles got through last time and damaged their ships.
General Surovikin strikes again. Another notch on his belt.

Another air strike at Ukrainian depots or concentrations in the Dniepr. As a note KABs are also heavily used in addition to FABs, but it's not easy to tell which is which from a video.

I feel terrible for the people in Ukraine. If what Time Magazine wrote is true regarding Ukraine soldier's average age is 43, then it's really difficult for any sane person to see Ukraine winning this conflict against Russia. For one, Ukraine does not have any meaningful advantage over Russia. Not in military fighting population, not in industry, not in economy, not in artillery. All the Ukrainians are doing is the unending hope that Western Europe and the mighty U.S. will be with them through infinity and beyond. They have already lost 20% or so of Ukrainian lands to the Russian invaders, lost so many young men to the slaughter house and the idiot they call President Zelensky keeps insisting to retake some towns and other key strategic area without any inkling of the many lives going to be lost, and the one's already lost, all done for political posturing to show the west and it's patrons in Europe that they are somehow making inroads and winning, to continue receiving aids that's going to dry up pretty soon.

Pandas breed more than Ukrainians. Ever since the Soviet Union collapsed, the country has been hemorrhaging its population of working age to other countries. Mainly to the EU and Russia. People in the 20-30 years of age bracket, male and female are mostly gone. Since most people of fertile age migrated, the number of children born in Ukraine also keeps shrinking. So 40 year olds is the only realistic suitably large pool of manpower they can recruit in the first place.

Compare that with Russia. A country people often claim has a demographic problem.

Add to that the fact Russia has a much larger population in the first place.

Leo 2A6 spotted with slat armor on the sides of the turret

More T-90M's and BTR-80/82 on the way to the front
Latest word is this Leo 2A6 was actually frontally penetrated in the lower glacis by a T-72 of some sort, on the first shot too, in a very rare instance of tank on tank duel.

Man people have been arguing over this match up in forums for like 30 years.

Seems the lower glacis being significantly weaker are accurately portrayed in War Thunder and even semi modern sabots are still able to get through. Though I do know the lower glacis is significantly harder to hit at range.

If the South Koreans are to be believed that's a lot of ammo, way up from the 350,000 rounds figure I saw earlier. Back when Kim went to Russia Yankee and Shilao also did a special on what sort of deals could be made and they also felt in exchange for ammo one thing Russia could provide is guidance in space program, also evident by the fact that Kim went to Vostochny Cosmodrome.

Damn, did that BMP unloading in an artillery strike zone run over a just dismounted infantry?
Side doors are a good perks for Infantry vehicules in some way like BTR-80/82, bit safer when you are in movement or in a hurry. Rear door have better protection if the vehicule is stopped facing small arm fire but with mortar and artillery it doesnt help. Easier to fit brancard and supplies in with a big rear door too. It's all compromise in a way.
