Yeah something tells me the air raid never happened. More like Ukraine took out a lot of aviation in ATACMS attack and now we need to put out a report we took out 7 Ukraine aircraft to please the masses.

I went to Russian defense forum and even they are not totally buying this.

Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian GMLRS M31A1 guided missile of the American-made HIMARS MLRS complex; even traces of the hit are visible on the missile. It is not known which air defense system shot down the missile. The very fact of intercepting a GMLRS missile is no longer interesting; missiles are shot down regularly. But in this case, a missile with an entire electronic filling and warhead fell into the hands of the Russian army. Why is it important?! The fact is that due to the characteristics of the GMLRS M31A1 missiles, they cannot be suppressed by Russian electronic warfare systems. GMLRS missiles use a modulated rangefinder P(Y) code, intended strictly for use by the US Armed Forces and its allies. Due to the special encoding of information and control of data from satellites, it is not yet possible to replace the GPS signal of satellites on these missiles.

Russia already had access to a GMLRS missile which they got from a 3rd party source.

But this certainly will allow them to have more datapoints.

I think military grade GPS is encrypted, so it is likely harder to spoof, but not jam. Not really.

Odd to see an old style analogue multi-meter on the bench.

Heck an under funded physics lab in a none tier one University had far better equipment in the late 80's.

really primitive setup unless it's a bomb disposal training setup. Which would explain the analogue meter (no batteries required except for R measurements)

There's so many third party involved that i'm not sure that they can stop drones and components going to Ukraine but diminishing the flow can be a thing if the stockpiles before sanctions are already empty. Selling prices will go up for the stockpiles that remains for clever peoples that filled their warehouses.

Again, China hasn’t stop exporting small drones. Chinese government implemented export control over large long range drones with sophisticated sensors and control/communication systems.

Smelchak is the laser guided shell for the 240mm Tyulpan-S self propelled mortar. The guidance system is likely to adopt the ones used for Krasnopol, with targets illuminated by Orlans. For all intents and purposes, a bigger Krasnopol. The family of guided shells includes that of the 203mm Malkas, the 152mm guns, down to the 120mm and 122mm Kitolov shells that can be used with 120mm mortars and 122mm howitzers and their self propelled forms. This Tyulpan is working in the Vremevsky front.

Daym, where is this i wonder. The Site looks like a pre-planned one, as you can see the raised earth where the 30N6 radar sits, 3 vans beside it probably containing generators or fuel. In the background, one can see the 40V6 mast with 7N66 Low altitude search radar.

This must be quite behind the frontline or maybe in Crimea.
