What if Russia signs a treaty keeping large swaths of Ukraine before 2 years? NATO tells Ukraine to sign it over or lose support and Zelensky goes back on his words to regain every inch of Ukrainian soil, and you think that makes you right?

Regardless of the time, whether Ukraine gives up next month or if Russia is still fighting in 10 years, if Russia keeps Ukrainian territory, I'm right. If Russia gives it all back, you are.

Didn't know that Ukraine in 2022 was as tough as Third Reich? Impressive, must say... And anyway, Soviet Union fought against 80% of German military...

I'm not celebrating anything, just laughing on allmost comicly incompetent Putin's Russia. Just trying to be objective and realistic observer.

BTW, if I'm such Ukraine fan, what do I do on this forum? They can't see China on the map...

You're laughing at Russian "incompetence" at taking 20% of Ukraine, but not at NATO's best failed efforts to stop it? That's objective? Did you start under the assumption that NATO's nothing and Russia is the War God of Europe?

During the Great Patriotic War, the Soviet Union executed an unprecedented total national mobilization to fight National Socialist Germany, and lost over 10% — if not around 15% — of its entire population in the process.

IIRC, something like 30+ million Soviets volunteered for or were conscripted into military service.

What the Soviets achieved against the Third Reich was paid for with an unfathomable investment in blood.

I'd tell you the Russians "haven't been trying as hard" in the ongoing bout against Ukraine, but that'd be a bit of an understatement.

This river goes all the way up into Russia and could serve as a good natural border. Kramatorsk is also the last major city in Donetsk and Ukraine's wartime administrative center of Donetsk.

IMO, this line is pretty much the minimum where Russia can still declare it achieved a "victory". Whether they continue on from here (Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy) one can only guess

Yes, true ( let's not discuss now for how many of these deaths is Soviet fault and how many Germans killed in their extermination drive ), but they won in the end. If they behaved like this Russia, Hitler would still be ruling everything from Spain to Dnieper.
This way of making war is trying to loose it. And if that's the goal ( loosing ), theny they are doeing excellent job.
