Ukrainian tank takes a first hit by ATGM and survives it. However the second strike stops the tank and puts it on fire. The attack was from the Russian 42nd Division now on Zaporzhyzhia.

This time the Russians were ready for another Ukrainian raid on Crimea. The AFU UAV was shot down, followed by Russian aircraft dropping cluster munitions on the Ukrainian high speed boats.

Drones track AFU soldiers to their hideouts and shelters, sometimes, ammo depots, command and observation posts. That's usually followed by an artillery strike or air strike. This time it's a loaded FPV drone.

Notice how slow that drone move. That's almost (sorry the actual speed was about 150-160 km) below the MDV (Minimum Detectable Velocity) Of early S-300 variants's 5N63 Radar which have MDV of 125 km/h. It is however detectable by ST-68U early warning radar and Podlet low altitude early warning radar system.

I suspected the destruction of Podlet radar stationed in Kherson last year was to open a path for massed drone strike to Crimea or other Russian position from Kherson region.

I dont think Ukraine is Poland or Israel tier in regard to they get the best equipment from the U.S. So what block F-16s and what M1a2 variants they will get will be interesting. Will they get the block F-16s with pulse doppler radars and Aim-120As that they dont givre a shit about ukraine, will they give F-16 blocks with AESA radars and Aim-120Bs that they sort of give a shit about Ukraine or will they get F-16s with SABR radars and aim-120C and Ds that they really do give a shit about Ukraine. Will they get baseline M1a2s, M1a2 SEPs with the most armoured protection of 940-960mm in turret against KEP rounds where they dont give a shit about Ukraine. SEPv2s where they sort of give a shit about Ukraine, or SEPv3s and SEPv4s where they really do give a shit about Ukraine since it offers more armoured protection with Trophy APS and 3rd gen FLIR 2.6 times 8= 20.8km range identify targets

other important information in regard to what penetration capabilities current existing Russian tanks might have.

The first Challenger tank fell victim.

Chally01.jpg

It's quite recognizable from the bore extractor and apparent gunsight on the gun mantlet. Other recognizable feature is the barrel reference system at the muzzle.

Apparently Rabotino. What killed it tho ? I guess it's artillery. Which in this war appears to killed more tanks than tank vs tank battle.

The thousands of tanks destroyed in this war I'd guess maybe 6-8 have been destroyed by another tank. And how many of those were abandoned. What a weird war.

Maybe if/when they get pass Tokmak we'll see armor on armor action?

The Ukrainian soldier made a mistake and helped the Russian soldiers in battle. No one is immune from mistakes in the war, one of these mistakes happened to Ukrainian soldiers. Reportedly, in the battles for Hill 215.7 near Klescheevka in the Bakhmut direction, Russian soldiers, circled in red, captured the Ukrainian position. Two soldiers went to help the Ukrainian soldiers, one of them jumped into the trench and died, the second soldier, confused, began to help the Russian soldiers in battle, throw grenades and shoot at their units. Further on in the video, a second Ukrainian soldier is approaching the Russian position, but the Ukrainian soldier is yelling at him to lower his weapon. As a result, the Ukrainian soldiers, realizing their mistake, surrender.

The Mi-28 helicopter destroys the UJ-22 Airborne UAV of Ukraine. Footage of the pursuit by the Russian Mi-28 helicopter of the Ukrainian UJ-22 Airborne UAV has been published. The UJ-22 Airborne UAV is produced by the Ukrainian company Ukrjet and has a speed of up to 160 km/h. As a result of a short air battle, the Ukrainian UJ-22 Airborne UAV was destroyed by a 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannon mounted on a Mi-28 helicopter.
