Situation on Zaporizhia front: Russian Army launched counteroffensive from the west of Piatijatky/П'ятихатки forcing Ukrainian Army from the town, which is again under Russian control.

Situation on northeastern front: During the last hours Russian Army continue advancing in the forest area towards Kupiansk/Куп'янськ city reaching the northwestern outskirts of Petropavlivka/Петропавлівка. Meanwhile, clashes with Ukrainian Army are taking place at the outskirts of Syn'kivka/Синьківка.

Bunch of Ukrainian vehicles destroyed by the 58th Army. I think one of them is a T-64BV and another a Leopard 2.







Knocked out Leopard 2.


This looks more like a Krasnopol strike than an aviation strike to me. Ukrainian EW station knocked out. Watermark credits this to Russian Airborne not Aviation.


Two destroyed Oshkosh at South Donetsk.


Lancet hits the back of a Leopard 2. This one is by Russian Airborne.


This Ka-52 video shows six kills.


M777 destroyed by the 205th Motorized Rifle Brigade.

Are there any big picture updates? How's the counteroffensive going?

The Russian Security Council is counting the military equipment lost by Kiev during the offensive, Nikolay Patrushev has said.

Other statements by the Russian Security Council secretary:

Russian military destroyed 246 Ukrainian tanks, including 13 Western-style tanks, between 4 and 21 June

Russian military destroyed 42 MLRS systems, 10 fighter jets, 264 drones

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost more than 13,000 men in an offensive attempt.

NYT article about the issues affecting the supply of western equipment to Ukraine, from inoperative weapons to contracts that have been already paid for but the equipment hasn't been delivered


It mentions that 30% of Ukraine arsenal is out of combat being repaired at any given time and mentions the conditions of Italy's M109 while Italy claims they made the Ukranians aware of their state as they had been retired for a while but Ukraine said they wanted them anyway. Another case was about 6 M777 howitzer stationed in Kuwait that had gone 19 months without mandatory checks before being sent to Ukraine, delaying their delivery.

And of the 32 AS-90 promised by the UK, 12 required extensive refurbishment or could only be used for spare parts for the rest.

The tank that backed into the MaxxPro

A commander of the Vostok-Akhmat gets interviewed and tells the importance of knocking out Ukrainian drones like the one he is holding. Vostok-Akhmat is in the thick of the battle in Zaporozhye.

You see this ATGM flying and snaking towards this Ukrainian tank or BMP for the kill.


Stugna-N takes out a Russian tank. This one probably from the 128th Brigade, which still sticks with all Soviet weaponry.


This in the Seversk front. Russian artillery hitting targets in the forest line. Green target reticles on the drone is indication of Krasnopol usage. One of the target's might be an artillery unit and it's ammo went off.


This looks like a Paladin that got knocked out by Russian artillery.

I don't know, proportions are off. Looks more like a Krab to me. Commanders cupola is also on the opposite side on the M109A6.
