Just wondering but how did you miss that it quotes Foriegn Policy when it says in the title in big bolded letter, in 1 of the 2 sentences posted, and a reference to a media outlet in the 2nd sentence. I usually only post the stuff that RT references from other outlets and cut out the opinions/facts/summaries but if people can’t even bother reading beyond 5 words then what’s the point. Perhaps the media outlet name needs to have 26 size text and in bolded red color next time.

In fact I wasn't able to read the report since the link gave me only this: ... sorry for a premature conclusion!

The soviet designs don't have all the same types of ammo anyway... it's just that they need to sort it out a bit more.
They can fire the same ammo, the only exception being the 3BM60 rounds they might have captured from the T-80BVM's, though as they require the modified carousels

They have T-55 in the rank with rifled 100mm...pretty sure that you cannot fire 125mm ammo of T-64 in it... or the slovak ones have upgraded 125mm guns ? Some T-55 got nice gun upgrades, don't know for them.

T-62 have strange ammo need.

The Slovenian T-55 have a 105mm L7, in theory they should be able to fire the same ammo than the Leopard 1 since it is the same gun.

The T-62's they might have captured might be out of luck, though Belgium did produce ammo for the gun at some point

Ukraine had a T-55 with 125mm for export too. The number of upgrades on these old horse is impressive.

If they can make brigade with same type of mbt it will help logistics and training, the problem is having enough of the same to achieve it.

Having Slovak T-55 with leo 1 in the same unit for ammo logistic reasons would be funny ! Tanks meant to be enemy.

Why is Donbass missing from the list of objectives? Putin specifically said liberating DPR/LPR after recognizing their independence was a core part of the S.M.O. Even the spy chief accidentally admitted that

was a core objective. Also, Kherson/Zapo was captured very early into the S.M.O., so they could have just declared victory that much sooner, instead of continuing to mobilize and focusing Donbass.... The list doesn't make sense. Why are they still attacking Donbass after their main objective (Kherson/Zapo) was achieved?
Excellent questions which I'm unable to answer.

After successfully weaponizing weather on many occasions, beavers, food, energy and necromancy etc Russia is now weaponizing blankets Literally, called the "counter thermal blanket".
These anti thermal blankets/coats are used by Russian soldiers, primarily small groups or sniper teams to avoid detection by thermal cameras and UAV's.

Few months old news but there is an anti drone device in use by Russian's labeled as "Python, Harpoon or Strizh / 3" with automatic detection and suppression mod, causing extra problems for the opponent.
