The War in the Ukraine

Ukrainian prisoner asks for a final chance to say goodbye to his family. Russian captors reply no one is killing anyone here, what are you talking about.

"The footage shows two Ukrainian soldiers being held captive by Putin's forces. Inside the trench, the two soldiers had their hands tied. The upload statement does not explain the chronology of his arrest. Expressing resignation, one of the detained soldiers addressed Putin's troops. "Can I have a chance to say goodbye to my family?" said the Ukrainian soldier, who thought the Russians were about to kill him. "Goodbye, what? We are not saying goodbye to anyone here. Nobody is going to kill anyone here, what are you talking about?,” replied the Russian soldier who captured the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in shock."

Another M109 gets taken out by a Lancet. A reconnaissance drone discovered the M109 and soon after the Lancet was dispatched.

Russian sneakrieg in progress, got caught by a hail of artillery. However I can't ascertain the casualties as the cut footage seems to indicate the Russians rising again and continue sneaking, which is replied with more fire. People under fire could lay low among the rubble and snow and won't be detected by thermals or they can be falsely presumed dead. This can lead to false casualty claims while the presumed dead can go on sneaking.

Boats are not spared from Lancet attacks as this BMK-2000 faced. It's hard to say if the boat sank but there's plenty of fire from it.

BTR-4 gets hit by Russian ATGM.

Are these figures legit or did they print it off of google?
Hard to tell, Steel Beasts have similar schematics but the values are completely different. The bustle has been visually confirmed to have 80mm of RHA armor for the Leopard 2A4 which matches the graphs so it could be a hint they are legit values.

Also at a point in the video, under the drawing of the Leo's cutaway, there seems to be a similar graph for the M1 Abrams

Lancet from the Kaskad obtf crashes on a Krab.

Drone assisted artillery from the Kaskad obtf takes out a howitzer.

Ukrainian ammo depo, trucks and vehicles gets targeted by Russian artillery. One can see a mighty explosion. The video is attributed to the obtf Kaskad.

On some feed, RU crossed the Bakhmut-Slovyansk highway in the direction of Berkhivka.

Only a small country road to Chasiv Yar remains everything else is closed,

Ukraine even blowed the bridge to Kostyantynivka on the west flank denying easy access for russian forces but also to get out from Bakhmut that way...

If they can control anything that go in while going in the direction of Chasiv Yar from Berkhivk, they can let Bakhmut slowly rot in an enclave.

If Russia wants to prevent Ukrainians from escaping Bakhmut, they're gonna need to encircle it a lot more than they are right now. In Severeodonietsk, even after surround the city and blowing up the bridges, most of the contingent escaped to Lysichansk by fording the river.

Maybe Russian are just waiting that more reinforcements go in. Nothing to capture there, it's ruins. If Ukraine want to send more... why not ? They will be stuck in hell.

The only gap is between Chasiv Yar and Berkhivka, about 5 km that can be covered by artillery. Russian Troops are at the south door of Chasiv Yar...bridge is cut at Ivanivske anyway. The only road left is the small one through Khromove for Ukraine reinforcements or retreat.

Ukrainian can try muddy open fields and swimming rivers but everything will be left behind...

Ukrainians are claiming that troops are actually leaving Bakhmut.

Of course they're also saying that they're going to hold in, and that they'll retake Crimea and so on. But anyway, even when Mariupol was surrounded, most troops actually left before that point. So I wouldn't be surprised if Bakhmut is actually being slowly abandoned.

On the maps it looks like there's a path open, but on the actual battlefield, that area would be shelled all the time because its in range, and it is also the only path which Ukraine can use to help the Bakhmut units.

Russia is not in a hurry to take Bakhmut. They're milking it for as long as they can until the city defenders are forced to break out themselves or surrender.

Likely there's a gradual slow leaving along the last remaining road, in numbers that would not cause alarm. Russian forces make potshots at each little group trying to get out, taking a manpower tax from them.
