A rumored leaked setup for Episode VII is making the headlines. It's easy to find if you go look for it. It's an odd way to start the story if it turns out to be true. I don't think George Lucas would've started it that way and I'm talking literally how Star Wars traditionally starts. It's already being criticized as defying simple physics.

And it looks like Christina Chong has joined the Cast. She is a absolutely Beautiful British actress of Chinese decent. Although still not a big name she is no unknown to the Scifi community. She played in the Dr. WHO episode When a good man goes to war, Black mirror and will also be in the up coming Halo:Nightfall She played a role in the recent 24.

I rented and watched Monuments Men and I liked it. There's not a lot of action or graphics but the story and plot are very interesting. I didn't know some of the masters great paintings are still missing even to this day or that the former Soviet Union had an interest in taking some of the art works and keeping it for themselves.

no, no I didn't. I figured Congress would have polled better then Jar Jar. Vader I can understand, emperor Palpatine okay but Jar Jar... Jar Jar tuned Anikine to the Dark side. Had Jar Jar not existed Skywalker would not have been driven to to want to kill him...
okay I might be projecting my opinion onto Annie just a little.
but hay Hillary Clinton is tied with Boba fett! I mean the former secretary of state has the same numbers as a galactic bounty hunter assassin....

Jar Jar is just dumb. A lot of those people on the list are dumb and evil. Not a good mix for leadership qualities.

On another note... Comic Con is happening now. I haven't been able to attend this year and last. But for some reason Zack Snyder is putting out there a picture of Henry Cavill dressed up as a "SuperJedi" with a lightsaber.

It's either nothing because there would be copyright issues if Snyder was promoting something or it's something that's sanctioned by Disney.

Star Wars talk!! Ok I'd like to start a sci-fi military discussion.

"George said the Imperial weapons attacking Hoth should look like walking tanks. The intention with the walker was to make it more frightening and anthropomorphic so it would look like a big robot. The idea of having a head and shapes that looked like big eyes and a big jaw was really to make it look more frightening."

These AT-AT walkers were
slow moving
large, easy to spot
top heavy and accident prone
very limited line of sight
terrible attack radius
vulnerable from air (hit them from an higher altitude) harder to pick off airplanes
Also vulnerable to mines? Why didn't the rebels lay plasma mines or have a speeder fly in front of them and lay 100s of mines?
Highly impractical... Did the Empire have just no competition militarily so they built everything just to intimidate and inflict fear?

I know it would ruin the plot and but I'd like to just discuss it.

B if your going to open up the knit pick on the military flaws of the Empire... get comfortable I could go all night.

First fail. The Rebels.. Guys did you like not Scout the planet at all? cause we got Chewies man eating abominable cousin Hanging out and no one seems to know it.

This is a big big issue here Where the hell is your Close air support? I mean really the Rebels have speeders pulse blasting lines of infantry and tripping up the walkers.
Never mind my favorite Storm trooper Joke. They were trained to shoot around the target.
