Yep, looks like Godzilla is coming back. Get ready for another Kai-ju battle.

Godzilla is coming back.

A sequel to the massive-monster film, featuring classic creatures from the franchise, is in the works. Legendary Pictures chief Thomas Tull made the announcement Saturday at Comic-Con before showing teaser footage that revealed the winged Mothra and Rodan and the three-headed Ghidorah will face off with the radioactive lizard in the sequel.

Military and war images and depictions of mushroom clouds fill the preview, which concluded with the words: “Let them fight.”

The film’s director, Gareth Edwards, appeared via video from San Francisco, where he said he was called on to rebuild the bridge Godzilla destroyed in the hit movie earlier this year.

The Legendary Pictures panel closed with a peek at King Kong’s planned cinematic return in “Skull Island.” A brief clip showed stormy seas and an isolated natural landscape and closed with the giant gorilla’s roar.

And it looks like Christina Chong has joined the Cast. She is a absolutely Beautiful British actress of Chinese decent. Although still not a big name she is no unknown to the Scifi community. She played in the Dr. WHO episode When a good man goes to war, Black mirror and will also be in the up coming Halo:Nightfall She played a role in the recent 24.

Maybe Christina could be the next "Sulu" of the upcoming Star Trek TV series.

B if your going to open up the knit pick on the military flaws of the Empire... get comfortable I could go all night.
Lets Play INVADE the HOTH SYSTEM!!!

First fail. The Rebels.. Guys did you like not Scout the planet at all? cause we got Chewies man eating abominable cousin Hanging out and no one seems to know it.
next Fail. The Empire
This is a big big issue here Where the hell is your Close air support? I mean really the Rebels have speeders pulse blasting lines of infantry and tripping up the walkers.
Never mind my favorite Storm trooper Joke. They were trained to shoot around the target.

I thought about that also. Maybe the Empire has such a Military stronghold on the galaxy they have never had to develop new weapons, maybe it was too much hassle to have to transport atmospheric close air support into warzones? Maybe they thought they could orbital bombard would suffice, but in this case couldn't because of that plasma gun and shield? But they had no anti-air either.

I really don't see how King Kong is even in the same league as Godzilla:

King Kong: climbs on top of a tall building, gets shot to death by biplanes.

Godzilla: *smashes* tall buildings, gets bombed by modern warplanes and shrugs it off. Has an atomic breath.

Yep, to Godzilla, King Kong is merely an ant!

Actually guys Godzilla and King Kong threw down once before. The two titans were fairly well matched in close quarters. G's advantage was long range fire power well Kong used the buildings for ambushes.

They change the sizes of these monsters all the time. This latest American Godzilla stands the tallest ever. It'll be interesting like in the original King Kong vs. Godzilla, they made two different versions. One where King Kong wins for the American release and the other where Godzilla wins. Will they do that here? This latest Godzilla sort of made him the good guy.
