Can't say i'm too crazy about the casting choices for MoS2, but i'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, though i stand by the idea that only Clancy Brown can do a proper portrayal of Lex Luthor in any medium.

Also found this, a motion comic of the Killing Joke, the Joker's Origin story.

Hope you guys like it

Anyone hear there's a sanctioned comic book out about what happened to Khan before Into Darkness? I haven't read it but I'm listening on the radio a program that talks about pop culture movies and TV. Of course this little news is doing damage control on the criticism people were having about Khan's nationality in the movie. So according to the comic book Khan is from India and looks like Ricardo Montalban but Admiral Marcus erased his memory and had him surgically altered to look Northern European so people would not recognize him. That brings up a whole new set of questions of its own. I don't know if they address them in the comic book.

Here's another rumor about the Captain America movie coming out soon. Don't read any further if you don't even want even this hint in your head. Everyone has heard that Robert Redford is in it playing a top S.H.I.E.L.D. boss. There's a story about who he turns out to be. Anyone want to guess? If you haven't read the comic books but have seen the Marvel movies, you can take a guess because the rumor it's one of the characters seen in the movies.

Yes, its being overseen, but not written, by Orci and Kurtzman, like all the other NuTrek related materials.

No idea about the quality, but from the Trek groups i follow it looks like they're desperately on the backfoot on trying to retcon some backstory to try and tone down a lot of the whitewashing accusations, like showing scenes of an Indian Khan and having plastic surgery to look white.

I haven't read it and don't intend to since IDW's trek is a mixed bag at best and if these guys need a comic book to explain backstory and motivations and other issues critical to story development then they already failed as writers.

I don't know what the big fuss is all about. People seem to hate Michael Bay for the kind of the movies that he tends to make. I happen to like his movies. His movies are about explosions and hotties. That's the kind of movies that he makes. You are supposed to leave your brain at the door when watching his movies. And he has not disappointed me. So you can't compare him and his movies with the Oscar-winning and deep stuff. And people need that kind of entertainment as well. 100% series stuff will bore people out of their minds.

The problem i have with Michael Bay's movies is that he adapts a lot of existing franchises, TMNT And Beast Wars showed those franchises could be more than glorified toy commercials, but Bay's films have made them go backwards, the problem is that his style of filmmaking is so popular its been applied to other franchises like Trek, which employs the same writers

The imperial cruiser with their daunting "turbo lasers"?

Nope. Star Wars laser weaponry is actually particle beam weaponry and not lasers. They got stuck with a misnomer name to help sell it to a non-sci-fi fan base that is all. Nothing else to see there, move along. Your argument would only work on paper and would shatter under actual fire.
The shield and deflectors in Star Wars are also misnomers. Same reason.

I have formulated a list as to why Star Wars is better than Star Trek

1. In the Star Wars Universe weapons are rarely, if ever, set on "stun".

2. The empire could clean the floor with the Federation

3. The Enterprise needs a huge engine room with an anti-matter unit and a crew of 20 just to go into warp -- The Millennium Falcon does the same thing with R2-D2 and a Wookie.

4. After resisting the Imperial torture droid and Darth Vader, Princess Leia still looked fresh -- After wimpy Cardassian starvation torture, Picard looked like hell.

5. Princess Leia in a gold bikini

6. Lightsabers, need I say more.

7. Darth Vader could choke the entire Borg empire with one glance

8. The emperor could make the Federation give them the Genesis Device with the Force

9. There are no classes in diversity and sensitivity training in Star Wars

10. The Death Star doesn't care if a world is "M" class or not.

11. Star Wars tells a story, Star Trek tends to preach

12. Luke Skywalker is not obsessed with sleeping with every alien he encounters

13. Picard pilots the Enterprise through asteroid belts at one-quarter impulse power --- Han Solo floors it.

14. Star Wars" brings us the future but with the gritty realism of the everyday.

15. Star Trek is too sterile, the ship are so clean you can eat off the floors.

16. The world of "Star Wars" delves deep into the spiritual realm with the Force

17. Things in the "Star Wars" universe are not always black and white (or should I say blue and red).

18. Jabba the Hutt would eat Harry Mudd for trying to cut in on his action.

19. I would rather have a "Clone Wars" on TV than the show "Enterprise."

20. The Federation would have to attempt to liberate any ship named "Slave I"

21. Bonus round: there are no fighters in Star Trek

Although each universe has a bit in common they are quite different. In an all-out battle Star Wars wins hands-down, every time (Empire or Rebel Alliance). In small, or limited, engagements Star Trek has some advantages especially with their transporter technology.

I don't believe this just because I like Star Wars more than I like Star Trek (which I do), but because, in my mind, the Star Wars universe is built for.....well....war. Whereas, the Star Trek universe focuses more on science and exploration with a limited number of defensive weapons.

In ship-to-ship action, Star Trek may have a maneuverability advantage, but Star Wars would bludgeon them with numbers. Not to mention that with gravity well projectors, Star Wars could mitigate any maneuverability advantages.
On the ground, Star Trek has no chance whatsoever. It would be an absolute bloodbath

Well I think part of What is happening with the Transformers 4 is that the Some of the Fan's are a little worried that the Formula of the movie is being changed.
I mean look at the the Actors from the first three. They are the Same Characters. The First two movies had the same set of humans. Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and John Turturro. Fox left Transformers 3 Which Left Shia Josh Duhamel and John Turturro.
Shia LaBeouf's Character is basically a more relatable JAr JAr. Sam Witwicky and all his Family are the Heroic Fail. I mean it's the loveable looser who thanks to his Alien Car ends up with the Uber Hottie when he should be getting a flushie.

Fox was the Uber Hottie until she was replaced with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. There Formulaic Character was the same, the Perfect 10, With more going on upstairs than you think who it going to help save the day all the while looking great in a tight tank top.

Josh Duhamel, Plays the Commando, the Human Soldier who will give it all for God and Country. He's GI JOE's Duke. Duhamel could play in his own movie but here he's a supporting as the figure who Shia wants to become.

John Turturro is the Conspiracy nut. He is basicly the Adult Sam minus the girl. He's first the Agent who knows whats up but walks the lonely road. Presumably he could have gotten the Girl as a Younger man but He dedicated his whole to S7.

It's a formulaic movie and that was the Formula the Robots then filled in as there own interlaced story helping and hurting the humans.
Now however those Four are Gone. Mark Wahlberg is not Sam He's Closer in Formula to Josh Duhamel's Captain Lexington. He's the Action hero who can think. I keep expecting Mark Wahlberg to join The Expendables. his movies are Formulaic he is the Special forces soldier who everyone underestimates.

I have formulated a list as to why Star Wars is better than Star Trek

All of that is checkmated by one name: Anakin Skywalker

As if that is not enough to damn Star Wars Franchise for all time, there is also: Luke Skywalker

If you have not yet summoned the darkest side of the force to choke yourself, there is Ja Ja Binks
