Empire magazine has some great articles in it. It makes me wonder why they don't bother with a distributor in the US. One year at Comic Con my friends and I were walking through the San Diego Convention Center concourse and there are hundreds of people peddling and handing out stuff. So there's this one guy handing out a glossy card for Empire magazine. I blurted out I heard that was a great magazine! The guy handing out the card thanked me and introduced himself as the editor of Empire magazine. Now you have the editor himself peddling his magazine yet the guy won't have an American distributor. I subscribed but because it's shipped from England the issues aren't current and usually two months late. I didn't renew after that.

Well with all the rumours being passed along regarding Star Wars (episode VII) the best one I have heard is that Benedict Cumberbatch is a possible cast member for the protagonist part in Star Wars Episode VII. He was great in the last Star Trek film and I am completely addicted to the BBC Sherlock Holmes series. His on screen persona of smug arrogance would be perfect for a Sith Lord.

Maybe JJ Abrams will cast him, but the same villain in two universes might be too much.

Well, they should think about a cross-over between the two universes. Say the Enterprise somehow got into the Star Wars galaxy and got involved in the Jedi business with the Skywalkers. The Star Wars did happen in a galaxy far far away and the Enterprise theoretically could make the trip...

Star Wars was also in the Past. Hence Long ago.
Star Trek is the Future.
Star Gate is the Present.
Space Balls is right now... You mean then? No I mean now. Then what happened to then? We just past it. When? Just now.

Yeah, if the Cumberbatch khan is any indication, his villiany would be too comic bookish even for Star Wars.

In Star Trek they can go through a worm hole to a Galaxy Far Far Away, and sling shot around the sun back to a Long Long Time ago, hopefully far enough back to be able to beam Anakin skywalker's mother into a black hole to abort the little brat and all his miticloreans before he could inflict episolds 1-3 upon us.

God bless the Monty Python humour and all their loyal followers. I think only Engineers can understand that humour:D

But without Anakin there would be no Luke and Lea and no episodes 4-6.
:(
I’ll bet money on an Imperial Curser over a Federation Starship.

Do you mean comic bookish like when C3PO and R2D2 cross the galleyway and survive the cross fire in episode 4? Or comic bookish like in Jaba the Huts place in Return of the Jedi? :D
