My goodness, this onboard vertical launch system looks just like the CFA-44 Nosferatu from the game Ace Combat! :D

This mech is equipped with all-direction multi-purpose missiles, codenamed "Inferno," capable of locking onto up to 12 targets simultaneously. When the weapon system is activated, the vertical launch modules on both sides pop up before launching missiles to strike the targets.

In addition, the CFA-44 can also be equipped with electromagnetic launchers integrated into the two vertical launch modules, with the battery unit housed in the lower bay. When the weapon system is activated, the vertical launch modules pop up, enabling the two railguns to fire rapidly.

In addition to railguns and all-direction multi-purpose missiles, it can also be equipped with electronic countermeasure pods and dual-purpose drones that can be either built-in or externally mounted.

As a combat flight game developed by Namco of Japan, many of its designs are truly ahead of their time!
don't they know canards aren't stealthy?

For people upset about CHAD not being able to do flips and turns like an acrobat — SHAD might be the very best at these things. Transforming vertical slabs have been confirmed.

Having movable V tails, and having TVC, along with its overall planform, would certainly make it a bit more nimble, but I think if this thing is intended for a carrierborne role/variant in the future I would suspect if those features are also useful for carrier landing flight characteristics.

I'm sure having fold up V tails during landing to provide better crosswind/lateral control would be rather desirable.

"Best" is also an emotive and strong word...
