I don't think one can make the connection between signing many deals and Tajikistan "blocking Iran". The two aren't even bordering one aother to be at odd.

The two are both Iranian speaking countries, which makes the deals look more like deepening already good relationship than mending conflicts.
Tajikistan had good reason to not liking Iran. I haven't kept track of recent news, but seeing that Iran has made progress on SCO, I assume these issues have been resolved

Tajikistan Opposed to Iran’s Full SCO Membership
While Russia has repeatedly backed Iran’s full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), some other members, particularly Tajikistan, seem to be opposed to the accession.
According to a report by

, Tajikistan is said to be one of the main opponents of Iran’s accession. The two countries have many commonalities, including their ancient Persian culture and language, and used to have the closest and most stable relations.
However, these warm relations took a nosedive in late December 2015 on the issue of the Islamic Movement of Tajikistan. While the Islamic Revival Party (IRP) was considered by the Tajik government as a banned party, its leader Muhiddin Kabiri was invited to an international conference in Tehran, and this outraged the Central Asian state.

I see, I wasn't aware of this. It is like Turkey harbouring Uyghur separatists while trying to join SCO.

it’s a great illustration of the way the SCO spreads peace.

Edit: If we look at what is happening right now in the Middle East it seems everyone is trying to get along, resolve as many issues as possible, with the carrot being their sustainable, and collective security and development.

  • Banco BOCOM BBM announces its adhesion to CIPS (China Interbank Payment System), which is the Chinese alternative to Swift. The expectation is to reduce the costs of commercial transactions with the direct exchange between BRL and RMB. The bank will be the first direct participant in this system in South America.
  • The Brazilian branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Brazil) becomes the RMB clearing bank in Brazil. The easing of restrictions on the use of the RMB is aimed at further promoting bilateral trade and facilitating investments with the RMB.
couple of things to encourage RMB usage with Brazil

Quite a few agreements with metals giant Vale
  • Vale celebrates 7 agreements with Chinese partners. 1) One with Tsinghua University for technical knowledge exchange; 2) The second with Central South University (CSU) for scientific research in low-carbon steelmaking; 3) A third agreement with XCMG for the development of the first zero emission motor grader in the world, with exclusive size for mining activity with the company XCMG. If successful, the project will allow for the migration of Vale's entire motor grader fleet in the coming years; 4) A fourth Cooperation Agreement will be signed with Baoshan Iron & Steel (a company of the Baowu group) for the production of biochar and its applications, aiming at decarbonization solutions in the steel industry; 5 and 6) Vale signs two agreements with Chinese banking institutions: one with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (the ICBC) and the Bank of China, for financial cooperation involving comprehensive credit lines for mining in Brazil and for large projects around the world, in addition to other financial partnerships, especially green financial cooperation , strengthening green energy projects. 7) Vale Indonesia also signed a seventh project investment agreement with Tisco (Baowu group) and Xinhai for the construction of an RKEF nickel processing plant and other support facilities. Russia proposes to create

: Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia

Russia has proposed to create BRICS geological platform with an aim to enable the BRICS to exchange data on their mineral reserves and extraction technologies.

“Alexander Kozlov, the minister of natural resources and environment of the Russian Federation, met with Mosa Mabuza, the chief executive officer of the Council of Geoscience of South Africa to discuss establishing a ‘geological platform’ of the BRICS member states,” the Russian Natural Resources Ministry said in a statement.

“Mr. Mosa Mabuza supported our proposal to create the BRICS geological platform,” Kozlov wrote on his Telegram channel following negotiations with the representative of South Africa.

The minister explained that the platform will strengthen the cooperation of the geological services of the BRICS countries: Russia, China, Brazil, India and South Africa.

“We will all receive data on each other’s mineral reserves and mining technologies. This is important because the demand for the mineral resources of the new economy is growing by leaps and bounds: platinum, copper, aluminum, nickel, lithium, cobalt and rare earth metals. We all need exploration of new territories, taking into account the experience, technology and knowledge of each other,” the minister was quoted by TASS as saying in a statement.

The minister added that Russia and South Africa will discuss steps to create a geological platform at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on March 30 in Pretoria.

“The first steps in creating the platform should include an expert meeting and a meeting of the heads of geological services of the BRICS countries. After that, a memorandum is to be prepared and a cooperation program approved. It should include specific areas, forms and types of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, depending on the goals of each BRICS country,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the head of the Federal Agency on Subsoil Usage Evgeny Petrov, whose words are also quoted in the ministry’s statement, the promising areas for joint geological exploration will be regional geological research, new technologies in geology, including remote sensing, digital control, resource classification.

Imagine if SCO (and/or BRICS+) becomes the blueprint for a better successor to the United Nations.

A tough one for sure, but it would be a momentous development on a global scale.

The UN is already obsolete and impotent. They lie to protect the US looting of Syrian oil. The recent questioning of the UN spokesperson by the Chinese reporter should show that clearly. It is an organization for China and others to manage and finesse so that it cannot be used to harm them, but it otherwise has no role in shaping the future of humanity. BRICS and SCO leads in that sense.

I am starting to think the world government will have a Senate and a House, the Senate is the reformed UN, the House is the GCI.
