Putin gave a series of orders to "open the skies" for civilian drones

Putin noted that practical experience in managing unmanned aircraft already exists in some regions of the Russian Federation, including Sakhalin, where the industry forum "Archipelago" was held. These developments "need to be extended to other regions."

"In this regard, I consider it appropriate to annually assess which entities create the best conditions for the development of the use of unmanned systems. I ask that the participants of the National Technology Initiative develop and implement the corresponding rating," the head of state said.

The work to open airspace for civilian drones must be carried out in compliance with "strict safe

Seven main types of aircraft under state of certification. i think Boeing and Airbus will not handle this much. Unlike Trump. Russia has Three Presidential and additional 13 wide Body planes. This kind of speed you expect from plane that is two generation ahead from its time aerodynamically going south to north.

Transport Ministers of Russia and Iran Approve Industry Cooperation Plan for 2025

During a working visit to Tehran, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit held a meeting with Iranian Minister of Urban Development and Roads Farzaneh Sadegh, the Iranian Ports and Shipping Organization and Iranian Railways.

In particular, the issue of construction of the Rasht-Astara railway was discussed. The project will ensure continuous railway communication along the entire length of the western route of the North-South corridor and will increase freight traffic in this direction. Authorized organizations Caspian Services LLC and CDTIC signed a separate Agreement on advanced engineering surveys within the framework of the railway construction.

Positive dynamics of transportation volumes between our countries by different modes of transport have been noted. Among the immediate tasks is the development of a unified policy for the design of competitive tariffs for rail transport.

They discussed the regular container service launched in 2022 on the eastern route of the North-South ITC. Thanks to the work to optimize tariffs in this direction and reduce delivery times, the frequency of sending container trains is increasing. It is planned to carry out practical measures to develop rail transportation along the North-South ITC, including the start of transportation to Pakistan in March 2025.
During the meeting, the parties signed a Practical Action Plan for cooperation in the transport sector between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran for 2025.

This old video but first time i saw about Russia industrial zone in Egypt and its connection with African continent. Russia is now very integrated into Arab system for Africa.

that PD-35 engine has demonstrated 37tons of thrust. even in current production rate IL-96 can produced at less than $100m. higher rate can even lower the prices. but these are post 2030 plans.

"Initially, the PD-35 project assumed the development of a wide range of critical technologies and the creation of a unified gas generator on their basis. The gas generator is the "heart", the central part of the engine, on its basis it is possible to create a whole line of products: engines with a thrust of 35 tons are suitable for wide-body passenger aircraft, 24-ton engines - for super-heavy military transport aircraft. Everything will depend on the technical specifications issued by aircraft manufacturers. At the same time, the demonstrator engine, which produced a thrust of 37 tons on the stand, showed that the main technical problems within the framework of R & D were solved, and now it is possible to begin creating a "commercial" engine," says Oleg Panteleev, executive director of the AviaPort agency.
This is a rare commodity: less than 40 Il-96 aircraft have been produced in 35 years. In today's prices, its cost is approximately 10 billion rubles or more. One can only count on a reduction in price by scaling up production and corresponding sales. But even at this price, the aircraft can be competitive: after the introduction of sanctions, imported aircraft and spare parts for them have become one and a half to two times more expensive, and the supply of new aircraft is still unavailable. If the current exchange rate is maintained, the Il-96 will be cheaper than the Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 passenger aircraft, which will cost the Russian buyer 25-30 billion rubles per unit.
"I think that today even PJSC Il is not ready to give a clear answer to the question about the future of the 96th with two engines. PD-35 is a huge heavyweight about 8 meters long and almost 3 meters in diameter, weighing about 10 tons. Suspending it at one point under the wing is a difficult task, but it is solvable. Serious calculations are needed, design changes to the wing, chassis, and fuselage will probably be required. The main thing is that everything is feasible, we have the resources and specialists for this," emphasizes Roman Gusarov, editor-in-chief of Avia.ru.

Behind the above is to achieve progress in this direction.

by the general director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Physical-Technical and Radiotechnical Measurements (VNIIFTRI) Sergei Donchenko.
"We managed to bring back five leading specialists from Japan, France, Germany and Italy who left in the 1990s, but remained there at the forefront of developments all this time. <…> The subjective reasons [for returning] are of various natures. For some, something didn't work out, for others there are personal reasons, and some simply miss the birch trees and can't imagine themselves outside central Russia," the source told the news agency.

This is Southern tip of Crimea. they are going to develop the whole region. I have read that in few years they spend so much like Ukraine spending over 60 years.
