The Strategy of Action for the Implementation of Family and Demographic Policy, Support for Large Families in the Russian Federation until 2036 has been approved​

The main objectives of the strategy are defined, and priority measures for the implementation of the set objectives are presented, including: expansion of psychological support programs for families aimed at maintaining long-term family unions and preventing divorces; development of programs for monitoring, rehabilitation and psychological support for women after childbirth;

improving reproductive health protection, increasing the coverage of adolescents aged 15 to 17 years and citizens of reproductive age with preventive medical examinations and screenings for the purpose of assessing reproductive health;

for existing . Third child born at age 28 to get $12K additional at regional level like Tula. less tolerance for late births.

Russia to Expand Support for Families with Children: New National Project “Family”​

From January 1, 2025, additional measures will be introduced in the Tula Region to increase the birth rate, including a one-time payment of 1 million rubles to women under 25 who give birth to a second child, and up to 28 years of age - a third. Also provided are payments to pay off a mortgage at the birth of a third and subsequent child, compensation for housing rent for young, large and low-income families, as well as the rental of essential items for newborns.
