These days other kids have a powerful influence on kids. So it doesn't matter what the parents teach their kids sometimes when they want acceptance from other kids more. I have a friend who just told me about what happened with his daughter. One morning the two were arguing about something and the daughter oddly mentioned suing him. He didn't know what she was talking about until he saw that story in the news later in the day. Kids normally aren't interested in current affairs especially his daughter. So it must've been talked about among her friends. There was a day parents would slap their kids in the mouth talking like that. These days a stranger can get you arrested just by the slightest accusation of abuse even when later it's proven completely false.

But it is the job of the parents to teach the kids how to choose friends. Some kids seem to never be able to choose good friends and always have bad influence surrounding them, while others seems to always surround themselves with good friends. I think this IPAs something to do with hoe the parents teach the kids.

A beautiful day in Central Europe (weather-like I mean) and I correctly guessed parks, playgrounds etc. would be crowded today, so early in the morning I went with my kid to an area as remote as it gets just about ten miles from Prague. There's no settlement within about one-mile radius of this place:

and at the time the picture was taken, we were enjoying "a wilderness", expecting rabbits, deer maybe ... What actually happened, after about one minute since that moment, was that a Police cruiser drove through, slowly (I sure didn't expect this "road" to be patrolled by a squad car LOL as I could think only of farm machinery going this way several times per a year, into the middle of nothing :) Guys I'll never know why Police officers would go there, but:
1. now I believe the statistics which I think is they arrive, on average, within 7 minutes in Prague, and 13 minutes in the rest of the Czech Republic, after an emergency was reported;
2. now I'm not amazed that after fleeing a crime scene, vast majority of "suspects" here get caught quickly :) within several days even if they were hiding in forests, small caves, or broke into an unused cottage etc. (would be different with people who had carefully planned their gateway, of course)

Has the price of gas been rising in the area that you live? It has for us...

The most popular fuel unleaded plus which is a 10% ethanol blend is running from $3.29 to $3.44 a gallon.. this from a low of $2.69(Unleaded plus) on December 17th.

Regular & premium unleaded is .10 to .40 cents higher a gallon depending on where you purchase your gas.
Yes. same here, and IMHO, it is ridiculous.

We got down to a couple of places at $2.98 early in January.

Now, two months later and everywhere is $3.39 per gallon.

It doesn't matter, sooner or later that kid will become an adult and have to make their own living. The choices and friends they made in the past will back fire on them and life starts to get tougher as they get older.

Just finished my first semi-formal archery tournament. Came out 3rd place in Men's Recurve division with a score of 507 (out of 600). :D

The Inter-University Archery Tournament is organized by 5 university archery clubs in Ontario and has a full indoor FITA format (20 ends of 3 arrows per end, 40cm target at 18m, with a short break after 10 ends). It's not officially recognized by Archery Canada, but it was my first tournament beyond the internal club tournaments.

A very nice round group with no visible stringing, I'd say your form must be coming along quite well as you develop the muscle memory, that strength will make your form repeatable even as you tire physically. With the heavy hunting bow, I used to use, 45lb to 71lbs for recurve, I would have to release as soon as I anchored in the corner of my mouth, surprisingly the 71lb bow was very smooth and very accurate with no stacking. I only have one recurve left, an old Browning Nomad, which I found in the closet of my mobile home on my college campus. Its not fun to shoot, and never was very consistant for me.

Very well done, archery is the most beautiful of all the marshal arts, it will also teach you a lot about aerodynamics as you fletch your feathers in a helical pattern to spin your projectile. It is also very relaxing as your load your bow, which "stores" the energy from your own body, transferring that to the arrow not only that energy, but allowing that arrow to become an extension of "you". I would love to see you shoot, it is very enjoyable to have those little competitions. I am a much better marksman than I would be by myself, as a result of "shooting" with a friend, strangely our competition is unspoken, and as much against ourselves as each other, "unless I gloat", from time to time???? When I would "flinch", his assurance that he also had to play a few mind games helped me work through those days.....archers may also develop a flinch, referred to as "target panic", makes it tough to get a clean release. good job young man, and keep it up....

There wouldn,t be enough space on most legal forms to sign ones name.

A Dunedin man has changed his name to the longest legally allowed, after apparently losing a bet five years ago.

The 22-year-old man from Normanby is now legally known as

'Full Metal Havok More Sexy N Intelligent Than Spock And All The Superheroes Combined With Frostnova' -

just one character shy of Department of Internal Affairs' (DIA) 100 character limit.

A message on an online body building forum, written by someone describing themselves as a friend of the man, said the name change was the result of a lost poker bet and the man realised his drunken consequences only when his passport expired.
