My English teacher in high school was a very cute girl who just got out of college at the time. I still remember her name, Miss Westlake. I spent a lot of time in class day-dreaming things...

Well, I think most of us realize that when God made woman, he got that so right, the church ladies all "giggle" when I tell them that God was just practicing on Adam, before He made woman! They suspect I'm teasing, but enjoy that anyway, speaking of women, the "Honey Badger" fixed me a "Bacon, Double Cheeseburger" for supper, "big dill pickle and onion slice" as Jimmy Buffet would sing, with a big glass of ice cold white milk, and watching the winter Olympics, yeah its "paradise" one of my friends is in the Florida Keys, but its all good here!!

WOW! We were right up near 60 degrees F today. Very pleasant.

Spring is around the corner.

We will probably get more snow here in the valley (and a lot more in the mountains), and we will have some very cold nights still, probably our last freeze will be sometime in early to mid-May...but the sun is shining and spring is in the Air!

Upon reflection, I dont think our summer was all that wonderful weather wise, and there didnt appear to be the same amount of summer fruits around. THe season for them appeared shorter.eg.Last year we had Cherries well into mid March, this year the season finished two weeks ago. My father informs me our old feijoa tree is lacking in fruit as well. Thats a pity cause we normally get wheel barrow loads. He put it down to the blackbirds which help pollinate the flowers not being around this year.
