Wow I certainly hope that drawing is accurate; a pump jet/shrouded propeller will be indicative that they're progressing in their propulsion systems (it's what all the popular submarines are using :D) to an extent; though the quietness levels obviously doesn't only depend on a shroud.

But also pump jets look waaay cool.

I think this is same photo of tphuang's post, but this is full view of photo,and we only see the tail portion, I think we will see the whole new submarine very soon.
and I saw in the chines forum some body called this new sub " Tan class ", or 039B?

In the same photos of the sub I see a thing in the sky. What is it? Airship, free ballon?
It is surely very big...
