Finally! We are at long last going to get that floating carrier-casino we have been promised!

When China is well on its way in building their own carrier from scratch, there is absolutely no need to go retrofitting decades old soviet ships.

It's more likely the private owners of the Minsk is taking advantage of the rock bottom commodities pricing and the desperation of Chinese yards for work to get some work done on the cheap.

Maybe its being rigged for DF-21D testing.

That place is pretty rundown from what I have seen in videos. So its about time for a overhaul.

I heard that ship would be taken to Nantong on the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province and moored to the west of Sutong Yangtze River Bridge as part of a new theme park that will be opened in 2017.

After 16 years in Shenzhen, there haven't been many people not seeing it. And due to some mismanagement and the lack of funds, the condition of that ship/theme park was in a pretty poor state. So it's time for a new home.

The captions in the video indicates that Minsk is only being taken to the yard for repairs.
