Don't expect PLAN social media to give you anything really informative. It's there to get Chinese people excited about their military.
One could read that as 'Don't ask on what and how much your tax money we're spending. It's not your business.' A wet dream of every military man around the world. I think that this attitude creates the 'magic' of untransparent spending government money on lots of things in PRC. But it changes slowly, we hear at least some real money values when it comes to base investment etc from time to time. Unfortunately it's not possible in most of the well developed countries because people will ask how and how much they spend...

Does this deck look extensively used, or just lighting issues again?

I am curious as to why they still don't have any plane on deck? Shouldn't they have at least 3-4 J-15s on deck? or they keep the planes in the hangar?
Well, these are pictures supposedly as she is leaving her home port. The air wing usually forms up on a carrier after they leave home port and are out to sea.The aircraft fly in form their land base.

So at this stage it is not unusual to see her leaving her home port empty.

Now, if she were deployed on an exercise and went to visit another port, or a foreign port, the aircraft would remain with the carrier.
