I believe we have seen pictures of that Z-9 helicopter on the Liaoning being refueled back on 12 december so these videos and pictures are at least 11 days old. My question is when did Liaoning leave port and is she back at port yet ?

The thing I enjoy about the video is seeing a fuel hose come out of the deck at the 1:05 mark of the film.

What I do not like is the lack of action on the flight deck. Just my opinion.

Well, there was a brief segment showing some refueling there popeye, and I know you have been looking for that. Also lots of footage of helicopter landings. Then, right at the end, a segment showing two J-15s on deck...though if that last pic is from the SCS deployment or not, I do not know.

Well let's look at it this way, first it was touch and goes, then it was arrester landings and take offs, then it was weapons trials and then night opps

Now we have moved into helicopters, so we see clear progress and are moving on

As they build up the aviation fleet we will start to see well coordinated and synchronised movements of real carrier opps with high tempo operations

Also I am still waiting to get that shot, the one with the escorts!
