Unitree B2-W robot dog can carry 120kg of payload.

A NATO 155mm artillery shell weights 43.2Kg with 6.86Kg of TNT explosive inside. A Russian anti-tank mine TM-46 weights 8.6 Kg with 5.7Kg explosive inside.

It's more like 40+kg

Still, 40kg is how much a DJI FlyCart 30 can carry, and that thing is 10x (a whole degree of magnitude higher) more costly.

(Though a Unitree B2-W is like 100k right now?)

Unitree B2-W robot dog can carry maximum 120kg of payload. Or 20kg pay load over 4+ hour of non-stop walking.

How about a robot dog on wheels? I've heard of a tactic in the Middle East where, due to the mostly mountainous terrain, they pack tons of explosives in a car and have it charge all the way down a hill, basically unstoppable, and usually horribly powerful. I've seen off-road videos of the unitree B2-W and feel its very promising. Taiwan itself has tons of mountainous terrain.

How would the robot dogs differentiate between soldiers and civilians? Or identify decoys? What can they do that an actual artillery piece can't? Perhaps trench clearing? But then wouldn't a flying drone be more effective?
I don't think it's something to worry about purely from an Anti-access/area denial perspective. You could strap all the drones and robotic dogs with explosives and have them automatically patrol/standby in that area, forgoing civilian identification, or even enemy identification. Instead, set them to self-detonate “on anything that moves”. Civilians would be largely absent from such places. Of course, there would be losses against decoys, and that's something to consider.

The robot dog that you mentioned is Unitree B2-W.

Edit : Just saw your second last sentence... It seem B2-W can change from just limbs to wheels on limbs and vice versa. This thing is extremely fast and has no problem with all terrain. With little modification they can be militarised.

Yes, you see the speed and stability of this little guy coming down the slope, it's really quite impressive, and it might be a real killer for blasting through fortifications or assaulting troops.
PS: (Climbing Angle > 45°)
