I'm not sure how you can assert that WADA and IOC is in Washington's pocket in light of the Trimetazidine episode that has been the focus of the current US-led propaganda campaign against Chinese athletes. Washington (USADA, Congress, etc.) is basically in open warfare with WADA/IOC because they are viewed as insufficiently anti-Chinese.
And the fact they tested Chinese athletes 21 times at inconvenient times at the behest of hostile America is proof that they are insufficiently neutral.
The FBI held Brent Nowicki, CEO of World Aquatics (formerly FINA) under the extra-territorial Rodchenkov Anti-Doping Act for questioning about its handling of the episode, and this has led to further legal moves and counter-moves to protect and undermine the supremacy and independence of WADA/IOC/ITA/CAS etc. respectively. There is no doubt that these institutions have attempted to accommodate the relentless political pressure emanating from Washington, e.g. with the elevated testing regime for Chinese athletes at the Paris Olympics, but there is also no doubt of the genuine and growing hostility between them or the source of these tensions. WADA recently issued an extraordinarily frank statement that directly called out Washington's political campaign against China and basically told them to

If US is involving itself politically and WADA is innocent of being an US mouthpiece, they should prove it by sanctioning US athletes.

If a football player assaults a judge, an impartial judge would dq the player on the spot. A compromised judge would bend over with excuses to let the dirty player keep playing.

Because of that, I do not believe IOC/WADA will correctly report US cheating, which that makes them complicit until proven otherwise. A compromised judge's words and rulings can't be taken at face value.

Whoever is in charge of female gymnasts of China needs to be replaced. Seriously the approach doesn't seem to work anymore when getting gold at the Olympics.

The sport has moved on from 2008. It’s more physical now. These coaches are still stuck in the past. They haven’t kept up with modern trends and have been left behind. It’s obvious for everyone to see.

Maybe this Olympic will wake them up. Especially since there won't be a Simone biles next time.

Otherwise this is just pure neglect
