I'm already seeing seething westoids again claiming of doping. They immediately expose themselves saying how can a nobody win the Olympics. Anyone who follows tennis would know she was in the Australian Open final this year. Just another excuse to hate on Chinese.

That's two seething victories so far in the Olympics. Can we get anymore?

To be honest, I haven't seen anyone accuse Zheng of doping. Where are you seeing this? On the other hand, more than 90% of comments from the West were accusing Pan of doping.

Did that nasty Emma Navarro drama make it here?

Navarro said, "I just told her I didn’t respect her as a competitor. I think she goes about things in a pretty cut-throat way. It makes for a locker room that doesn’t have a lot of camaraderie, so it’s tough to face an opponent like that, who I really don’t respect. But, kudos to her, she played some good tennis there at the end. She played better than me, so congrats to her."

Qinwen, to be fair, responded to Navarro's comments and handled the situation with a great degree of poise. She said, "If she is not happy with my behavior, she can come and tell me. I would like to correct it to become a better player and a better person. I am happy that she told me. I will not consider it an attack because she lost the match. She told me that she doesn’t know how I have so many fans."

That's hilarious. Zheng is currently ranked 7th in the World while her opponent Vekic is ranked 21st.

Sarah Sjoestroem from Sweden set a new Olympic record in the semifinal for the women's 50m freestyle. :oops:

Zhang Yufei and Wu Qinfeng also qualified for the final, as did Australian swimmers Shayna Jack and Meg Harris.
