To be honest, I haven't seen anyone accuse Zheng of doping. Where are you seeing this? On the other hand, more than 90% of comments from the West were accusing Pan of doping.

But then one doesn't see the signs of doping in Pan. i.e. those bulging muscles made more pronounced with the absence of a fat layer below the skin granted swimmers normally have a thicker fat layer but it should still be noticeable. Remember how Ben Johnson and Florence G. J. looked when they were breaking records? Aerobic-enhancing drugs don't work in sprint races.

She wasn't in China studying engineering but in a law and policy related field. She would of known that you have to be a patriot in that field of study during Xi's era. I believed she spoked out against the rioters when it was not the safe thing to do. She also mention that she wanted to represent China in the UN to fight back the unfair criticism against China.

There are some very well spoken (english), good presenting, and sassy patriotic Hong Kongers. It is something China should be using in the soft-power messaging department that could help relate to the western or at least asian-vassal audience (you know, the people your propaganda want to target)

US swimming just choked away 200m women's indiv medley where they had a high chance at gold (Kate and Walsh). Walsh even got DQed for cheating

Now they only have:

1500m men's freestyle (Robert Finke low chance)
4x100 men's medley relay (don't know whether their team is strong this year)

50m women's freestyle (Walsh maybe)
800m women's freestyle (Ledecky high chance) Won
4x100m women's medley relay (between AUS and US)

~1-3 golds more at most. US swimming definitely underperformed

Also choked away a 4x400m mixed relay in athletics despite setting an OR in semis

50m belongs to Canada? She caught up a body length in last 50m in freestyle in 200IM

Canadian swimmer Summer McIntosh won Gold in the women's 200m Individual Medley, setting a new Olympic record. This is her third Gold medal of the games, a Canadian record.

Australian swimmer Kaylee McKeown finished fourth, but was elevated to a Bronze medal after American swimmer Alex Walsh was disqualified on technique for the backstroke to breaststroke transition. The Bronze medal adds to McKeown's Gold medals for the 100m and 200m Backstroke.

Yu Yiting finished fourth (after accounting for Walsh' disqualification).

Katie Ledecky (USA) won Gold in the women's 800m freestyle, her fourth successive Gold medal in that event, an astonishing record of dominance.

Ariarne Titmus (AUS) won Silver with a new personal best time, adding to the Gold medals she achieved in the 400m Freestyle and as part of Australia's 4x200m Freestyle Relay team, and Silver in the 200m Freestyle. Love you Arnie.
