I was going to look into this further but I think there's some photoshopping going on. Maybe someone here can help. I think I saw this pic posted here earlier. The last time I saw this pic published in some article, the supposed North Korean athletes had flags on their uniforms. Now the same picture I saw before but there's no flag and I don't remember DPRK on them. What made me think of looking at this further was they did have a flag but it looked like the Chinese flag. What made me notice before was that the North Korean flag has the blue strip on top and bottom where before it looked like the Chinese flag they were wearing. I don't keep up with Chinese athletes and their names so if any knows... they can confirm this.

There is a flag, it's on the left breast behind the medal ribbons.

I'm not claiming anyone, just referencing the many posters on here who were quick to point out the ethnicity of the US & Aus maths olympiad teams.
I actually do regard imported athletes as belonging to their home countries. But in this case, Siobhan Haughey grew up in Hong Kong. She's not just a naturalized import.

Same argument for those Chinese American math winners. If they grew up in the US, they should be considered Americans, although their race/ethnicity still matters for other reasons since we often engage in discussions about deep culture and genetics here.

It is a fake photo, and very badly made one.

The two supposed NK are Chinese 王楚钦/孙颖莎 Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha. The fake is so bad that it didn't even doctor the their uniforms. I wonder WTF did the faker want from this.

The first thing that pops-up in my mind is someone doesn't want it to look like Chinese and South Koreans can get along. That could include the US. Other scenarios includes someone wants to promote North Koreans and South Koreans can get along. That can only be from a non-right-wing South Korean.
