I heard an Indian say in an interview that it is very rare for an Indian who has left India to want to go back, however many Chinese who go abroad to study or work end up returning back to China.

For starters there is not much future in the west for Chinese while there still is for Indians as long as India doesn't become a threat to them.

Another reason is because Chinese who come back are capable of realizing their dream like creating their own company and making it big etc. In India it's unsalvageable as some Indians say

Dunno why the need to talk about India while we are competing with the whole west. Putting China and India together is kinda humiliates China.

You're right. As I said earlier, when you're fighting to be number one, you realize how far India is from the equation of actually mattering. We are talking a margin of one gold which India doesn't even have!

Punching down on weaker countries is just a waste of time.

Now that said India deserve every bit of blowback for it. You don't keep talking smack and boasting about how great you are and expect us not to hit back. Even Taiwan, Japan or whatever country America wants to throw at China don't do it to this extent and in fact acknowledge China's achievements whether they like it or not. Meanwhile Indians keep slandering China after the fight is already over.

India is like that viral video in Malaysia of some Indian against the Chinese shopkeer. The Chinese shopkeeper knocks down the guy and said you done yet? Get lost! The Indian instead of just going away after the Chinese shopkeer let's him off, decided to attack the shopkeeper with his helmet from behind and since the shopkeeper doesn't hold back anymore, he just knocks out the Indian guy so he's faceflat on the floor.

Good thing about tying in golds is that smoothbrained Americans can't really use it to show off their "superiority" because it's a result they're not really proud of

Im beginning to think Jai Hinds are secretly a British creation. Like they are only good at fighting other Asians but bows down to the white man instantly.

I remember some Jai hind saying if everyone in India were of high class brahmin stock and had no dalits they would be superior to the rest of Asia and EQUAL to Europe. How on earth are you a Hindu Nationalist who can say he is only equal to European at best. The British really conditioned then well.

What you've just described is a product of imperialism and the cultivation of the slave mindset. You see this even amongst Asians who've been under British colonialism for too long like the hong kongers and the filipinos when it comes to anyone anglo westerner. To some extent you see traces of this even amongst latin americans who defer to european spanish or amongst the hispanic white supremacists of america.

The problem is that the anglo led west has flattered indians into believing they are on some level equivalent to China when their peers are more like Nigeria and Liberia and even Nigeria has a chance of overtaking India in economic growth and potential.

West Africans have the most fast twitching muscles that allows for excellence in sprints. Among the non-Africans (all non-Africans are closer genetically to each other owing to a common group of ancestors), East Asians actually have more fast twitching muscles than Caucasians which is why Su has a better time than any white.

The genetic differences among non-Africans are fairly small. In swimming, the biggest differences should be just training when Chinese or other East Asians compete against whites.

In track, there are real genetic differences that impacts both sprints and long distances -- East African dominance there is every bit as great as West Africans in sprints. Training aside, Jamaicans will be heavily favored in short and Ethiopians in long over any non-African. You need to find a genetic rarity in a place like China and then train him to have a chance.

Humans simply had a longer time and a more diverse gene pool to evolve from in Africa. And running is basic to the human anatomy unlike skill sports -- including swimming -- which places more emphasis on training.

Just to add to this. It's been hypothesized that Asians and Whites have a genetic advantage over blacks in swimming for the same reason blacks have a genetic advantage over everyone in running. East Asians typically have long torsos, which gives them a center of mass that is lower in the body. Longer torsos allow for more height to be lifted above the water, which means more force is generated with each stroke.
Blacks typically have the shortest torsos and the longest legs, which means their center of mass is higher on the body. This is advantageous for running sports, since they're able to generate more force when lifting and lowering their leg on and off the ground.

if triathlon athletes complain Seine is bad, I can't imagine what's going to happen swimming in Ganges. One might as well just kill those athletes.

Yup in the next Olympic they learned their lesson after witnessing Algeria get gold in women boxing be ready for a deluge of a new breed of Indian female athletes like this one.
