Getting 40 Golds and topping the charts when you are going up against cheats who are deliberately sabotaging your top rated swim team is a major win in every sense of the word:

When I say cheats, the US* has the highest percentage of caught drug users among major nations -- far higher than even the Russians:

* I guess the best you can say about the US is that they dope effectively -- especially seeing the costs-benefits of how India does it.

I remember some Indian saying Chinese were naturally slow. So when confronted on Su Bingtian he said if we had people doping and trained since birth we would be just as fast.

1. Just because you get crappy result doesn't mean you are natural. It means you can't get anywhere even with doping.

2. This shows the the real mentality behind Indians and why they are messed up. Because many do not believe in working for anything. Look at all these successful athletes around the world. Most of them picked up the sport since the age of 5 or something. It's not some concentration camp or whatever, it's the fact if you want to be truly the best, you need to start early and work hard towards it. Even in India, any of those athletes who medaled started young. But of course many Indians don't realize this. They don't seem to take life seriously and how much you actually need to sacrifice to be the best. You figure with JEE or NEET grinding they would know this better but for whatever reason they don't.

The Han stock struggles a bit naturally in reaching the same sort of burst running speed as the African types for example. But it's peak hypocrisy for India to say anything as they're equally if not worse at speed.

East Asians have genetic advantage in strength, hand eye coordination and not to be underrated in sports, intelligence as well. Many sports heavily come down to mindset and mind games. It says a lot that even after western teams being given near carte blanche by WADA to chemically enhance their athletes, the strongest performing male team in Olympics is still an East Asian one.

Everyone struggles against them. I think the fastest white guy is only 9.92 seconds. In Su Bingtian Olympic run at 9.83, he ran the fastest 60m ever recorded. If he could keep that explosiviness a bit longer he would win the finals.

Meanwhile Yupin Abeykoon (Sri Lankan actually not even Indian but Indians still claiming him) got eliminated in the heats that event. And since Su never got caught doping I don't want to hear that excuse that somehow the other guy wasn't drugged up enough.

That means China, aka the Greater China Area, has more golds in this Paris Olympics than any country on earth, when we add the Taiwan medal and two from our Hong Kong.

Kind of unexpected, but we'll take it.

Jia You! Hell, ga yau!

That sounds better, hehe!

:D
If we're going to add all Chinese territories medals to Chinese totals, then it's only fair we add Japan's medal tally to US.

West Africans have the most fast twitching muscles that allows for excellence in sprints. Among the non-Africans (all non-Africans are closer genetically to each other owing to a common group of ancestors), East Asians actually have more fast twitching muscles than Caucasians which is why Su has a better time than any white.

The genetic differences among non-Africans are fairly small. In swimming, the biggest differences should be just training when Chinese or other East Asians compete against whites.

In track, there are real genetic differences that impacts both sprints and long distances -- East African dominance there is every bit as great as West Africans in sprints. Training aside, Jamaicans will be heavily favored in short and Ethiopians in long over any non-African. You need to find a genetic rarity in a place like China and then train him to have a chance.

Humans simply had a longer time and a more diverse gene pool to evolve from in Africa. And running is basic to the human anatomy unlike skill sports -- including swimming -- which places more emphasis on training.

The ITA currently lists

as having been provisionally suspended after returning AAFs during the Olympic games period, but the list does not seem exhaustive as there is at least one case not listed, that of Greek pole vaulter

. Does anyone know of any others? Most likely the process of updating the ITA site is simply delayed, the most recent of the fourth athletes listed only appeared in the last 48 hours despite having occurred on August 4th.
