Update on gold prospects remaining (Currently at 28)

High chance
2 in table tennis
2 in diving
1 in synchro swimming
2 in weightlifting

Possible golds:
~2 in boxing (women's 50kg, 54kg, 66kg and 75kg which just came in)

Estimated final golds (based on these sports only) are ~35 up to 37

Not including sports I'm unsure of like athletics, sailing, canoeing, taekwondo, golf and team sports where a few more could also come.

US (currently 30) has possibly another ~5 in athletics, ~2 in basketball, ~1 in volleyball, ~1 in women's football/polo and ~1-2 in wrestling for a total of ~40-41. Seems like I underestimated US athletics chances, their ADHD doped athletics team is just too strong this year

If Chinese athletes are being tested at least four times more than American athletes at the Olympics, they and everyone else should be tested just as much. If they're conducting surprise testing such as in the middle of the night while they're sleeping I imagine that would affect their performance so why shouldn't they be treated in the same way?

The US pulled a Trump in protesting during women's gymnastics demanding more points be found so that their gymnast won the bronze instead of Romania. The US and the West know how to cheat in many different ways. That's the problem with judging sports because that's where judges can be influenced for personal reasons or from outside influences.

Zheng Qinwen, who won Gold for China in the women's singles, contested the final of the Australian Open in January and is currently world #7 in the WTA rankings. Apparently Olympic results do not count for WTA points.though
I thought that China lost the right to host WTA games over the Peng Shua? incident

Brigadier
Chang Yuan, that's how you do it!!! Finally a combat gold in the 54kg women's boxing! She was a real figher, always moving forward and attacking, pushing the enemy around! First gold in women's boxing in China's history!! She should give a seminar to the Chinese Taekwondo team on attacking and controlling!

3 more finals left for our female boxers: 50kg, 66kg (fight a man), 75kg

Hope they all have her combat spirit!
