I watched it and was delighted at Nadeem's monstrous throw which earned him a gold and OR and beat Chopra" one and done") handily publicy on world's biggest stage.Any other Euro / slav beating Chopra could be dismissed but a Pakistani -no way- a javelin through their hearts.
it would be as if an Indian beat us in diving!!!that bad.

All developing nations are the 3rd world. So to that extend, we are still one of the 3rd world nations. :)

I think he was quite a bit propagandized by his own beliefs in a "3rd world global revolution", and because of that, he didn't examine much the actual conditions of the 3rd world, or at least didn't correctly predict what it would look like in 2024.

The truth is that these countries have little to nothing in common with China, neither in prosperity, work ethic, social trust, or innovation.

I think the best I can say for 3rd world is that China can move along them like a fish in water. The fish can use the water as a cover for its agenda, but the fish is not the water.

Absolutely correct-China has great many similarities to no surprise,Japan.Koreas.Vietnam-Confucian /Sinic type societies emphasizing, general self control/modesty societal/personal order,discipline,diligence ,respect,intelligence .A Chinese can and have lived,work and thrived in any of those mentioned societies but not in other totally alien 3rd worlds.Mao respectfully never understood that.
