So remember that 50 kg women's wrestling where the top seed was knocked out early. It was by this Indian and she made it to the finals. So India gets gold?

WRONG. Somehow she missed weight and got DQ'd. Only in India ffs. Now USA gets gold by default.
I'm pretty sure she cheated. Wrestlers are weighed the morning of their competition. Vinesh bulked up after her morning weigh-in, which gave her an advantage during her competition. Unfortunately for her, she gained too much weight and couldn't lose it before her next weigh-in. I feel bad for Yui Susaki...she lost to a cheater.

I mean weightbullying is a legit tactic on combat sports. She used to be in 53kg but couldn't achieve crap there so she was hoping she could come down to 50kg and try her luck there.

Guess it backfired hard huh?

If anybody loses the gold in diving I'd bet on women's 3m springboard

Springboard naturally has more risk + Chang Yani and Chen Yiwen are not that good

Chang Yani flopped her second dive and now in danger of getting eliminated in preliminaries

Gold for Li Fabin in weightlifting. He's double Olympic champ. He is known as a super-intelligent weightlifter in that he self-corrected his own genetic deficit in leg strength by bulking from the dead 56kg class to the 61kg class using his own method rather than the conventional method of bulking, then training the new muscles for strength. His method was so effective that he went from being 15kg lower than the North Korean world record holder when they were in the 56kg together to crushing him by several kg for a world record when they went to 61kg together. However, he is getting old and his leg strength is fading.

He had me worried because although his snatch was super-dominant, he missed his first clean and jerk in a way that made think his strength was not there on this day. That would put him in danger of bombing. But he got the second lift and in the third lift, which he failed in the jerk, he proved that his leg strength is still competitive with an easy clean.
I think that if even 1 Chinese athlete are denied a visa, the entire Chinese team should pull out from the Olympics in protest.
I'm not worried at all about a denied visa; that makes the US look like scared losers. I'm worried about them letting the Chinese swimmers through, then planting drugs or child porn on them and arresting them.
