This chart is pretty accurate in sizing up true power rankings of countries on earth ...

Nah, for multiple reasons it definitely isn't:

1. Russia is missing.
2. Japan is definitely not 1/2 as powerful as China, and neither is South Korea for that matter.
3. Italy, Germany, and Netherlands are definitely not 1/3 as powerful as China.
4. Australia, France, and Great Britain are definitely not more than 1/2 as powerful as China.
5. The US is definitely not tied with China in high tech power like hypersonics (gold), and China beats the US by 50-100x in mid (silver) and low (bronze) tech power (military manufacturing and ship building).

Well, we lost the gold medal in 60kg Greco-Roman to Japan. I watched it, but didn't understand it. I never understood why a point was awarded and I never understood why 2 people would just be evenly pushing then suddenly one has to lay belly down and let the other guy on top of him. I don't get it at all. The most basic thing, that you can score by rolling your opponent over, I get... but it makes no sense to me. What is the combat value of rolling your opponent over on top of you? And apparently, you can't touch the legs or that's a leg foul. Absurd sport...

Interesting race going on in women's hammer throw

Favourite (US) is out, and Zhao Jie (CN) is top 2

Men's long jump Chinese jumpers are pretty good but will need a hell of a jump to get gold

I also realised there's a new event called mixed relay marathon walk, seems like a possible gold for China given China has really strong race walkers
