Chen Yuxi still got a gold, alongside Quan Hongchan for the synchronized diving. I understand though and agree it might be frustrating to almost always be 2nd in individual events.
No more dreams for volleyball
Won all the games in the round robin and then lost in the quarterfinals to Turkey. Not even getting a medal is very disappointing. Inability to perform at your best under pressure. They don’t have Pan Zhanle mentality.
Up next is one female boxing and one men's Greco Roman wrestling. Not much chance of gold but we can still pray. People don't even expect to see China in the finals in these sports so already that's proving them wrong.
I believe we should be able to get at least 30 gold medals and stay on second place. What I do hope to see is more progress in areas China is not seen good at. Like combat sports especially in heavier weights or some other really western stuff that makes westoids seethe.

Hey, are you sure there is a bronze medal match? Looking at this, it seems they just give both the defeated semifinalists bronze medals...
Edit: Nevermind; it seems they have repechage and 4 people will fight for the 2 bronze medals. We fight Egypt.

For Wrestling, there's only that 1 in 60kg men's Greco-Roman.
For boxing, women only, no men, we have 3 finalists: 50kg, 54kg, 60kg. And we have 2 semifinalists: 60kg (might need to fight a shemale), 75kg

Just wanna make sure you know what you're looking that: that's a perfect 10 from every judge in that 1 dive. Not even China can make all 10's in every dive.
