Overview of Chinese companies capable of manufacturing 77Ghz mmWave automotive radar, the preferred frequency of choice for long range detection applications. Major foreign manufacturers are listed as well. Taiwanese mmWave manufacturers attempting to enter the market were unsuccessful due to price competition.

Reading the comments, I can sense the biggest challenge for Chinese EV makers in the European market is not engineering, technology, or innovation, but the good old racism and the poor reputation of Chinese products.

Also funny that even Spain is not a car manufacturing powerhouse, all they have is VW owned SEAT, yet they have the gall to look down on Chinese carmakers.

For me the more they discriminate Chinese Cars the better for us here in the Global South, we can experience a quality of life comparable or better than in the collective west.

This is why it's a golden opportunity to showcase Chinese quality and service, because China's automobile reputation is starting from scratch in West. Thankfully, EV cars are mechanically less intensive than ICE cars, and Chinese Battery tech is best in the world, so Chinese should provide superior customer service and experience and durable build to distinguish itself and build a strong reputation.

The best selling point of Chinese ICE Car are their value for money with all the bells and whistles found on European luxury Car especially when compared to Japanese and SK. Why pay twice the price with Spartan design full of plastic, the Chinese car manufacturers are shaking their dominance here cause they can't justify the purchasing cost of each vehicle.

The Electric Viking: a lot of battery factories are being built in the US because of the Inflation Reduction Act, but 95% of them is betting on the wrong battery chemistry.
Some of the comments in the video mention this. Even if it's Ternary initially in mind, they can pivot to making LFP. A lot of the factories are still in construction, after all.

I think the bigger issue for competitors is that the Chinese move too quickly.
