Honestly I kinda dig the MG4 design, it's conventional enough that it looks just like a everyday car in and out, like a Carolla or i30.
bro I really like BYD Atto 3 and I may buy both BUT parking space is a pain especially when you lived in downtown Manila where parking is a premium. ;) For family transport (5 adult) MG4 will do. Well all I can do is dream as we may take decades to see mass EV usage ,we need to established the necessary infrastructure first.;)

Geely, Chery and MG seems to be doing well in Southeast Asia to Australia with their ICE.

GM and Ford appear to be using Chinese JV engines in their vehicles, in particular, SUVs, in the US. Look at the small 1.2 to 1.5 turbo Ecotec and Ecoboost engines. By JV I mean engines designed by Chinese and European engineers in joint venture.
Geely Coolray and Ford Territory are the two best selling ICE car here, both are Chinese spec therefore the Japanese and Koreans need to up their game by either introducing the same spec and pricing or lower their price. ;)

On the Central Asia front, BYD has a boatload of cars headed there. Apparently, Song is really popular out there. Won't be long until China is synonomous with high tech in neighboring Asian countries.

btw, I wouldn't buy Atto 3 right now. I think Dolphin would be a better car for most Asian and European markets.

Wuling air is head to Egypt and India. Interesting, 300 deliveries in Indonesia and 4000 orders so far. That's a pretty good start. Should be a star of G20 meeting in 2 weeks.

Hesai continues to do well. They've gotten orders with quite a few automakers recently.

I'm actually really surprised by the roaring success that atto3s are having across the market, seems like I'm in the minority that doesn't like the musical instrument interior design. I guess the price/value ratio + supply is just that much better than everyone else.
I keep wondering why the Thai people need to queue overnight to get the Atto3? Why? Don't wanna wait too long? Wanna be the 1st owner? Further, I watch clip regarding the vehicle, I notice many people, especially the Chinese, pronounce it as [all - tou - 3], not [at - tou - 3], did my ears serve me right? Where do they get the sound [all] from?

There are only 5000 for delivery in 2022, so they want to get it as soon as possible.
