Some more bad news out of BYD, looks like their warranty was changed significantly and is now way worse. Originally claimed it was going to be a 7 year warranty covering everything similar to MG, but now it’s been reduced to 6 with many components covered for 3 or only one year. Surprising a lot of customers.

Australians not taking it well. The changes are disappointing as expected but look at how quickly they resort to sinophobia and China bashing just due to a Chinese ev company. Sinophobia is truly rife in Australia.

Well, it is byd's fault. They have a great product but are new to western markets. Maybe they need to get slapped upside down to step up their games a little bit. If this is evdirect's doing, then they need to get this sorted out with them.

Australia is not the best market for ev I think. I wouldn't buy an ev if I want to buy a car in Australia.

no need to dismiss Australian market. BYD is going through growing pains of entering international markets. Chery and Geely had to go through this. Nothing new

Anyway, this is wild. Chengdu Auto Show 2022
So, to be announced from BYD
Denza UXE SUV
BYD SUV 07 (I assume this is Sea Lion)

Also the concept cars are going to be exciting.

BYD Dolphin is really great. If they can only mass produce this thing. Would be like the EV version of Civic/Corolla
