Re: chinese clone copy of MP-5 LMG
To say that it resembles the MP5 means little. This is a regular SMG built with a classic layout and uses a magazine; so does the MP5.
To Semi-Lobster: The Type 64 is mainly used by the army as it is a silenced SMG. The Type 79 is a AK-47 on model pills; the Type 85 is a even cheaper and simpler SMG. I can't speak for the last two you mentioned, although I think one of them is army only.
The Type 79 and 85 SMGs are light and shoots a powerful round (IMO an ideal PDW round), but are old, unreliable and really needs replacing. Back in the old ezboard forum, Dongfeng showed an article on a story where the Type 79 was used in a police action against drug traffickers. Apparently, the Type 79 was so flimsily built, the bolt carrier assembly came shooting out.
