I saw John Wick last night. If you like gun play, this movie is for you. It was pretty straight forward. Basically the son of a Russian mob boss steals John Wick's 69 Mustang and in the process kills the dog Wick's recently deceased wife gave him not knowing Wick's a former mob assassin. And it's killing all the way to the end of the movie. It was a lot of close quarters combat... with guns. You know how in crime shows they can tell what was a professional hit because of "two in the chest, one in the head?" You think that's just what they do to execute people. In this movie it was all during melee combat. My friends and I were watching the credits roll in the end and we see the "produced by" credit come up and we all in unison go, "Eva Longoria?"

If I weren't so busy with a combination of school and work I would probably be checking both Fury and John Wick out... As of now, I just hope that I can check out Interstellar in theatres once break starts.

Anyone has watched this movie, The Hobbit? I have watched two episodes of it; The Unexpected Journey and The desolation of Smaug. The third episode is said to be released on Dec 17 but it usually takes a year or so to be available on TV.

Had anyone seen "Fury" yet? I'm planning on seeing it this weekend.

I saw Fury Sat 10/25 it's good it captures the evil and darkness that war brings out of people. There were some questionable actions in the movie like any other.

I'm assuming you are referring to some of the atrocities committed or mentioned by the tank crew. I think it's good that we can recognise that the allied serving solider did commit their share of atrocities.

The guy is said to be Tom Cruise in his new movie.

I am going with one of my sons, one of my daughters, a son-in-law and three grandsons to see Interstellar tomorrow in IMAX.

Can't wait. I have heard a lot of good things about it. Supposedly tose who have seen it say it is an epic sci-fi. It's about three hours long.

We decided to go ahead and spend the extra money for the big IMAX screen and sound. I'll report back.

Well, we decided not to take the grandkids and just go as adults first. So, my son and I wnt to see Interstellar last night and splurged and saw it in IMAX....and it was PACKED! I mean completely sold out.

GREAT movie for anyone enjoying sci-fi and mind-teasing paradoxes associated with relativistic sciences. Unbelievably good cinematic and a great storyline...futuristic, with the human race needing to leave the planet a hundred years from now...even though it is a of the climate change leaning.

There was no skin, there was no appreciable violence...however, they did throw in a really bad word on one occasion, which was unneeded and should not have been in a PG-13 movie. So, I would not take grand-kids to it, which I otherwise would most certainly have done.

Aside form that, it will definitely be, IMHO, an epic Sci-Fi movie.

Can't wait till class is over so I can check it out in theatre!
