In ASEAN, nobody is afraid of the Philippines. Annoyed yes, but not afraid. The Philippines has a pitiful navy and airforce. In 2013, it had to unleash pirates onto Malaysia to attempt capturing pieces of Malaysian land in Borneo. As pathetic as the Malaysian response was, the Philippines looked even more pathetic for their cowardly attempt at landgrab.

China should give Taiwanese the opportunity to make the correct choice and vote out DPP next year. If they fail to do so, China must make the move. The current state in which Taiwan province is being treated as sovereign country by U.S. & its vassals can't be allowed to continue.
