Let me explain what actually happened. Basically Wang Yi did his best teacher impression in front of Blinken and said "now last time we meet I left you guys two pieces of homework, and I'm not very happy with the results you guys turned in so far. Here is four more pieces of homework for you to take home. If you know what's good for you then all six will be on my desk post haste with I's dotted and T's crossed."

We don't know the exact content of the four demands, but we do know the titles:

要求美纠正错误对华政策和言行的清单
list of erroneous policies and incorrect statements towards China that must be corrected

中方关切的重点个案清单
List of specific key items China is concerned about

中方重点关切的涉华法案清单
List of laws to do with China that China is concerned about

中美8个领域合作清单,希望美方切实认真对待。
List of 8 fields for cooperation that US needs to treat seriously

You can tell from the names that if US agrees to all four then it's basically like signing an unequal treaty with China. So no they won't be doing them, not yet anyway. But the fact that Wang Yi gave them these four lists tells you how CPC sees the future: soon enough you'll be hurting so badly that you will be begging to sign your own 辛丑条约.

Instead of shaking Blinken's hand I kind of want Wang Yi to put his hand on Blinken's shoulder and do the Bane's "do you feel in charge?" thing.
Your 3 bottom links doesn't work

I would like to add that China should not treat Sri Lanka's financial crisis as its own crisis or India's problem. India is a potential hostile hegemon in South Asia if left unchecked. If China just concedes it's influence in South Asia to India, does anyone think that India will appreciate that kindness? Would India just stop at South Asia? Based on history, when China had not started anything in South Asia, India was already playing with Tibet.

India doesn't appreciate benevolence. If China allows the Indian hegemony
to grow unchecked. India will continue into SEA, and India will play with Tibet again. This is the real world. Not every country with some measure of power is like China. Some want to keep their own neighborhood like Russia, and Japan. Others like the West and India want everything. China cannot be too naive to not contain India. Because when India gets the power, India will seek to contain, and destroy China.

China needs to rethink its non-interventionist policy. China needs to makes friends with the common people of foreign country too, not just the elites. Just don't do those CIA black ops or color revolution crap. But also don't just do almost nothing when a friendly nation seriously needs help.

Does China want friends or just business partners? China should try to get more Pakistan's than getting more Malaysia's. Friends will return a favor. Business partners can forget about you anytime when it is convenient. In Pakistan, even when the government changed, the average Pakistanis are still good with China. But in Malaysia, the average Malaysian's attitude to China changes at the direction of the NED.

In Malaysia, China's mistake was to build too much friendship with the elites. The average Malaysians hate the elites, hence it was easy for the NED to influence them. China should come up with a counterpart to the NED. Don't be exactly like the NED, don't spread hate and color revolution ideology. But educate, educate average target foreign citizen. Come up with magazines, books and thought schools in target countries. Use slick propaganda on the average Joe. This is the real world, the average Joe cannot spend time reading books or attending seminars. Basically China should not just rely on the elites.for friendship. The opinion of the average people is what actually matters. There is no other choice.
China needs to start buying/creating local media in BRI countries, and prop them up to counter western propaganda.

Example: If they had done for Sri Lanka they could point out China only owns 10% of Sri Lanka's debt, as well as point out the history of US NED organisations.

The values of democracy are very flexible.

Biden wrote an entire essay: "Why am I going to Saudi Arabia," which was published by The Washington Post.

The US president is trying to explain why he broke his election promise to make the Prince of Saudi Arabia an "outcast" and instead goes to visit him.

It turns out that "democratic values" are a rather flexible thing that can change depending on the national interests of the United States. As in this case, for example:

Next week, I’ll travel to the Middle East to start a new and more promising chapter of America’s engagement there. This trip comes at a vital time for the region, and it will advance important American interests.

I know that there are many who disagree with my decision to travel to Saudi Arabia. As president, it is my job to keep our country strong and secure. We have to counter Russia’s aggression, put ourselves in the best possible position to outcompete China, and work for greater stability in a consequential region of the world. To do these things, we have to engage directly with countries that can impact those outcomes. Saudi Arabia is one of them, and when I meet with Saudi leaders on Friday, my aim will be to strengthen a strategic partnership going forward that’s based on mutual interests and responsibilities, while also holding true to fundamental American values.

These are promising trends, which the United States can strengthen in a way no other country can. My travel next week will serve that purpose.

If you are going to invest so much money you also need to protect it.

Myanmar is gone. Pakistan is also semi-gone (probably 100% gone after its current government economically collapses the country). Sri Lanka is gone (no way the CIA will let a China-friendly person come in power).

Hmmm. Considering all this and the fact that the USA is attacking Chinas interest along with Russia so damn brazenly and without remorse, well China in the future is going to have to eventually work with Russia into making considerations as to what kind of compensation that the USA will inevitable have to give China once the USA Cullen collapses under its own weight and whether they have the stomach to extract that conpensation by any and every means possible given that the USA is trying to destroy China, thus China has to be willing to use whatever methods to bring the USA down and get them to cough up everything that the USA has taken from China and if it means making slaves out of the people to pay the trillions of dollars in debt (I mean they consume so much and for so little, they really should understand that nothing is for free), well really, the USA borrows trillions and to expect forgiveness on the debt because they are white is simply not on. Either give China gold or work themselves to the bone to pay it but, their will be no alternatives as brutal as it sounds

So asking your vassals to help Taiwan instead of being directly involved, so they'll get blamed instead. Also how would UK help Taiwan when they have enough problems on their hands currently?
Well this shows how weak the USA is right now but funny enough, how long will the uk last at any rate with all the issues they have right now and given that Russia has a ultra high level of hatred for the uk given how much trouble the POME bastards give Russia in regards to arming and training the soldiers in Ukraine and basically extending the fight in Ukraine long past the point of no return, in this instance Russia may be at the front of the queue compared to China in regards to beating the unholy hell out of them and given that may people in Russia along with hints from Putin that sooner or later, the UK might end up either eating a hypersonic missile or a Poseidon induced Tsunami very soon, well to be blunt, I don’t see how on earth the UK is going to be doing anything to China when Russia is the one that is most likely going to force them to put their colonial past behind them by extreme force

Are they really against learning foreign languages?
Its just a proposal by a Chinese lawmaker. In that same article itself, there is argument against the dropping the English subject. It even looks to be unlikely to happen.

One online poll showed most were in favor of continuing to have English as a main subject as they believed it was necessary to participate in global competition, while a smaller number of people supported Xu's proposal, saying they would rather more time was spent learning Chinese language and culture.

Learning English is not a simple issue about compulsory education, but part of China's opening-up policy and support of globalization, in which English is a basic skill for Chinese to get involved and deliver messages, ideas and technology from China to the world, said Shen Yi, a professor at Fudan University's School of International Relations and Public Affairs.

Shen told the Global Times those people who want to remove English from compulsory education are showing narrow-minded populism. In the long run, it will result in education inequality and eventually lead to class division, he said.

Personally, I think it is a bad idea to drop the English language. Learning English is what makes the Chinese people more aware of what is going on in the world. It is still an important language globally, despite the rising interest in Mandarin Chinese. In fact the Chinese should strive to improve the mastery of the English language. Not every Chinese will be proficient, but that is not the objective. The objective is the ability to access foreign knowledge.

Besides, from a military-intelligence standpoint, the Chinese can understand the Americans, the West, and Indians far better than the other way round. The PLA will have many more soldiers who could understand the enemy's language than the other way round. That is a powerful advantage. A PLA soldier with a basic understanding of English could pick up some words from enemy communications, or understand the enemy's written words. On the other side, the average US Marine, or Jawan cannot understand what the Chinese are communicating to each other. Even fewer would be able to read Chinese characters. They would need language specialists for the job, making the deciphering process slower. The same works even better in the information war, espionage war.
