There is no NATO without the US. That bluff is funny. Europeans will just wait 4 years and take his insults hoping the next guy will pick up where Biden left off. These little cowards don't have the courage to be independent from a protector and they don't have the intellect to realize that they should move onto a new protector because the current one has devolved into their parasite instead.

It would be interesting to see what Trump's position will be on Tiktok. One the one hand he probably doesn't want to be seen as weak on China, but on the other hand Tiktok had a hand in his election win...
Well, there were so many MAGA and election merchandise that were Made in China. Despite that, he still slapped tariffs on all Chinese imports. What are the odds that he is gonna be that grateful to TikTok?

Exactly. Narcissists don't feel gratitude. They use people and might give rewards while they are still of use, but discard them when they are of no further use.

Kim Jong Un has achieved something his father and grandfather could not, a face-to-face visit with sitting US President that lead to defacto legitimization of it's nuclear program, and a mutual defense pact with Russia. That's pretty damn impressive.

Now if North Korea depletes it's arsenal, does China by law required to replenish and maintain the balance of power on Korean peninsula and NK's self-defensive capabilities? I think 1962 Sino-DPRK MDT is pretty clear on that. US getting it's taste of it's own medicine by invoking TRA arm sales on self-defense premise.
That's why Kim Jong Un endorses Trump

An honest but sobering appraisal on India's much vaunted hype as the next manufacturing hub of the world.

Take this pertinent and persistent example that's far too common in India. So, instead of the government (regardless of party) focus on addressing those important issues raised on this tweet/X the government at all levels pretend that they have arrived at an inflection point of supapowah trajectory. The unfortunate thing is that they have been fooled and continue to be fooled by western firms, governments, and its own large diaspora from the West to continue the path to nowhere.

I don't believe the IMF/WB projection since the actual data provided to them is in my opinion ACTUALLY BOGUS, CORRUPTED, MANIPULATED which is ironic since these are the same traits that's been flung against China's own economic growth/data for decades now from the usual suspects including from the undisputed scammers, India.

I remembered during the first rounds of Trade War 1.0 in 2018, the Jai Hinds were getting so excited about the prospect of supply chains moving from China to India. Then 2020 and Covid happened, and they went into delirium about India replacing China as the factory of the world. When the UK fell behind India in GDP, they proclaim themselves an economic Supapowar. They keep boasting that India is gonna become a global hub for XYZ to this day.

Fast forward to 2024, and India had practically not moved an inch closer towards it's dream of becoming a World Factory. Instead, India had lost major multinational businesses on its soil, and had also slowly de-industrialized. So during all of these times, its safe to say that India had been busy talking instead of doing anything constructive.

The Western elites and China haters continue to look at the wrong places. They had chosen to listen to the politicians, oligarchs, and scammers instead of listening to the common Indians. That is fine for me, because it means that they keep betting on the wrong horse. Unfortunately, Russia is also betting way too much on India. But I think that they are gonna learn their lessons better when they finally feel the burn of getting scammed.

AI and automation is fast approaching practical commercial application. It's only a matter of time before it starts to be employed on a mass scale. India is on course to miss out on yet another opportunity to upgrade its economy. This is the final window before that "demographics dividend" starts to lose its value. Yet India have squandered the last decade on politics, militarism, delusions, casteism, racism, and religious fanatiscm. The nation is sliding back to the Middle Ages while others are working towards the 4th Industrial Revolution. But it looks like the Jai Hinds are gonna keep talking and keep wasting more time.

To be fair, India is not the only nation guilty of squandering golden economic opportunities. But, it is one of the most egregious examples.
