The biggest supplier of Titanium to Boeing was Russia. Everything was certified. They decided to scrub those relationships for obvious reasons, and went scrambling. Clearly they either didn't want to waste time and money checking, or were just cheap. This company cited in numerous articles is "an unknown Chinese company". Why choose them unless they were cheap? Idiots like Gordon Chang think China knew where those bolts were going and what they were for forgetting that someone at Boeing or Spirit freely admitted that information in order for sabotage to occur. How did China insert themselves in the process when they weren’t the supplier if to trick them into buying counterfeit parts? That could only happen if it was intentional to buy counterfeit parts on their part.
