Of course it was right Xi didn't go. The West would've used it as setup to pin Xi in a photo-op where the West would be seen scolding Xi like he were a child. That's why you're now seeing articles of different Western officials outside this summit talking about punishing China for helping Russia. If Xi attended, all of it would've happened at the summit and not separately from different officials how it is now.

The US still delusional that they would know how to find out these things. Do they still think the spy game is like playing James Bond where they think white spies they can only trust can move freely and unnoticed throughout Chinese academic facilities and technology companies? Maybe they'll seduce a Chinese female in a high position to spill everything to them. They cut-off country exchanges which is probably the only closest way they might find out what China was up to. Maybe they'll pass a law in the US that China has to disclose everything they're doing. Then they'll have to get passed the biggest barrier of them all... their own racism that China could not be able to do this because they're intellectually inferior.

A China Daily investigative report has dug deeper and discovered it's more than just a ban. It's a complex web of US and Philippine operations designed to control the narrative and influence public perception in the South China Sea.

A US government campaign to silence journalists, suppressing narratives that challenge their discourse! Thus, INTERAKSYON - PHILSTAR GLOBAL; PRESSONE - FELIPE F. SALVOSA II - INTERNEWS (NGO) funded by USAID -- funding the so-called "Initiative for Media Freedom" (IMF).

Sounds like another lie because they don't want to admit they're very capable of endangering people's lives by buying lower quality parts intentionally. They found loose bolts on at least ten planes not broken or damaged bolts. What was wrong is how they put together the aircraft. If they found lesser quality parts and Boeing knew about them years ago, this is a case of Boeing taking short cuts to save money and not because they were tricked.

I guess that is how Boeing took Russia out of its titanium supply chain. Buy the titanium from China.
In case you guys don't know it can take a decade to develop the facilities to make titanium metal. The ore itself is dirt cheap. China, Russia, Kazakhstan and Japan are the major titanium metal suppliers. The US companies are just too shortsighted in terms of quarterly profits to make such facilities.

This can't go on forever.

In other news, the most valuable company in the world is now founded and run by a Chinese.
Biggest bubble in recent memory. I expect Nvidia to be less than $300 billion company in the next few years. The only thing they have, Cuda GPUs, have no advantage. AMD and Intel will come after them. Huawei and other Chinese companies will also take huge market share. Nvidia is a symtom of US delusions. They think AI is magic and US companies are magicians. No, its not. AI is commodity and China will have a huge market share in global AI pie, most likely will dominate it completely.

More interesting is the 2nd story in that link. US has moved from not selling its gear to Chinese chip plants to trying to ban its own fabs from buying chinese gear!
